Even the xex1 samples are on there still, something nobody has seen really I love the fact of where it came from, my favourite developer and they're famous for keeping their stuff private, so I'm chuffed
I could make a guess as to where it came from, but that seems rude great find nonetheless. Any plans to dump the xex1 test files for the few with working beta 1 kits (I'm not one of them hehe) in other news, I just got a 0003 trying to cut the temp sensor on a Falcon. Oh well, got plenty of mobos to work with for fun
Oh and in reply to the dumping, I might start a community dump fund thing soon if others would be up for that, I found some files I had that I recovered off the kit earlier and forgot how cool they were. You're one to talk you've got a lot of nice stuff too bud!
The story of the slim? It was out of my hands for 3 years. I recently started talking to an old friend, sneakypeanut and he told me his mate had the exact kit for sale. The guy with the kit lived in my city so went and picked it up in person. One to tell your grandchildren. Naht
Some old pics of the slim I found, I didn't take them so excuse the photography! Had to cover up a couple of things, like you could see the serial number through the clear case http://imgur.com/a/YTL6E
Check what the postman delivered today! Definitely a beauty, and got to go through a few goodies on the hard drive, they look interesting
Don't think I ever posted this pic but here is what a lamprey looks like hooked up to stress kit cables and a prototype argon board! Enjoy
