Xbox 360 Dev Collection (Pic Heavy)

Searched that up but again came up pretty dry, any model numbers? Sorry to be a pain! It's not easy finding such rare information if you understand my pain.

Just pick up an IDE harddrive above 20gb but not too large to be safe. I doubt many HDDs have been tried. I know Old Engineer said that a 20gb was the limit, I just havent run into that yet.

 

Now THAT is the Xbox you want to bring to a LAN party.

If you're talking about THIS then I've never done it nor have I ever run Linux bar once at work to recover some files when Windows corrupted. I take it there are other methods to clone it? Never had to do it so not that clued up mate. :/

 

Well, I and probably nobody cares how, but wont it be great to have a 1on1 backup of your drive, so you might recover removed files or just play with a clone? or use the recovery of a dash on a clone drive and see what happens? (Clonedisk or similiar windows might do it. but I found dd realy easy and actualy pulled me towards Linux... you could use some hexeditors aswell, like how I made my xbox memory card backups... but 8 to 20 gig hardrives?)

Its just me, that want to keep any bytes on these kind of special devices like your alpha (maybe ask Borman or similair guys who helped the GodFather devkit dump) Unless you already figured out the previous owner REALY cleaned the drives (as in, even removed files are zeroed out, or completly overwritten)

 

Awesome Alpha kit! I wouldn't mind having one in my collection if I could ever find one hahahah.
