You're not alone. I love rectangles. I mean, I am someone who likes the SNES design, after all (Sans the non colored buttons).

 

It looks dull!!! Well, it's a glorified PC after all, at least Sony made an effort to make it look like a game console ;p

This gen completely went without translucent systems! I miss them too!

 

Not entirely true. The PS3 TEST protos had translucent plastic.

 

Then again, so did some 360 proto devs

 

So true. I forgot about the slims with the clear casings.

Although! The Halo 4 360 was some what translucent as well.

 

There is no way that's a thin client.

It's too damn thick for that.
