Very nice collection. Makes me wish I lived closer to Seattle! I don't think I've ever walked into any local shop and found anything remotely Rare for Xbox. Lucky you.

 

Well only a hand full has been "found" locally. I do trade with several members here regularly across the nation.

 

Yup I don't doubt that. I was moreso referring to like the beta communicator. That must have been a nice surprise.

Wow really? Any cheaper and they would've ended up paying you to take it. What do you think that's worth now days?

 

I traded it for something that the new owner and I decided had the value of around $400. Borman is the only other known owner of one with unknown amounts in existence. The new owner is a familiar face here but I'll leave his/her name out of it unless they would like to come forward on their on accord.

So it's been a while since I've updated this thread. So above is a new DVT4 I picked up cheap on eBay. The seller thought it may have had a dead motherboard inside because it wouldn't power up. No HDD either. It needed a little cleaning as well. The psu was the U.K. Version as the kit is from Europe originally, hence the no powering on. Replaced the HDD with a 250gb sea gate. Runs super smooth.

Nabbed up some more 2005 LT items as well as another Dakota. Pics to come....

 

I saw that one, glad to see you patched it up and got it running.

 

Yeah wasn't too much that needed to be done to get her up and running clean.

Ohh no, no. I was just saying I'm glad to see a find like this going to someone who would take care of it. It would be a shame otherwise. DVT4's are pretty cool boxes.
