XDK Prototypes on eBay

I found these two links and decided to post for anyone who might be interested. I'd get the 2nd one myself (especially since it's in my hometown), but I don't have the money for this kind of stuff (trying to get a 360 dev kit), plus I already have the green debug kit right here.

 

Top one is a DVT3. Bottom one is a standard DVT4.

 

That DVT-3 looks so nice :< I need to own one of those. Bit expensive though.

 

Was on the lookout for one of these a few week back..would have loved the top one! Shame I'm sort of low on funds at the moment..maybe one day though!

 

That's always the case huh? You're looking for something rare, you have the money, none show up. You don't have the money and they start popping up. That's life for you.

 

DVT3 is reasonable, cheap even. I know I paid more for mine (granted it has a game but still).

 

Seller doesn't specify, do we think the DVT-3 is 220v?

 

It says its Europe, so its almost guaranteed unless there is some fluke case.

 

Darn. Guess I'll try for the DVT4 then.

 

DVT3 would be useless for anyone who wanted to use it anyway. Software doesn't really work on it.

I'm sorry, I meant to say, what does DVT stand for? And what's the difference between DVT-3, 4, and whatever?

 

DVT-3 is different hardware, a few cosmetic differences too.

It's a common term for a hardware prototype. Not specific to Microsoft of the Xbox in any way.
