FPS games do that to you.

Heck I rebelled by instead buying Akai Katana the day before Black Ops 2 release.

I have a GDN account, just haven't dumped everything recently. My account can not whitelist unfortunately.

Ahh, that sucks. You could have made a lot of money if you were able to whitelist a VPN. Maybe someday someone will get one up.

While the helping hand is much appreciated to the people who have the passion to develop and have no chance to apply for a license, I still think you should be careful, MSFT is a big corporation and dealing with lawyers is something that you will want to avoid. Maybe you can offer help and if that person requires certain software you can provide them with the link and then remove it from the server, then it will be up to that person whether he wants to share it or not.

People are going to leak and upload files no matter what. Just look at piracy on the Xbox for example.

Please share the files, make awesome tutorials, but dont let noobs recreate files or rename things. Make original content or share unike items like never seen before XDK's or documents. and if your site is about programming, dont share games or demo's of PN. Source code is also a no go. You want us to be able to get this homebrew scene going? share useful info, no Pirate stuff :p

can ADK's be used to run certain coded content like if you were to build a homebrew or emulator using it will i be able to run them through my retail 360 dashboard without the need for a hacked nand/Jtag RGH or whatever? or i'm missing something?

ADK is just a set of tool to make application, like Youtube, etc.
    No one need this....

DSwizzy145 : You're missing something. Every "development kit" build dev xex. No one can build retail xex except Microsoft.

Yea I have the ADK, but I was having some troubles installing it because of the Silverlight Runtime. I talked to Microsoft about it and they told me to remove anything that is Silverlight related then do a fresh install. The Xbox Customer Phone Support in Redmond Washington is great! I'll try installing later today, let you guys know how it goes.

Uploading demos, previews, or SC from PNet that is a BIG NO-NO, I know my boundaries and limits and that is something I discourage HIGHLY!!!http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?42070-Pnet-Whitelisting I know I spoke of XDK's and Recoveries but what I'm sharing is probably no longer in use by Microsoft, they only allow use of the last 3 releases of SDK for official dev's and the stuff I have is April 2012 so theres probably been another 3-5 releases since then. Recoveries are no longer of use besides updating the console for the dash features and you can't access PNet so it's safe, plus I didn't upload the latest recovery another person who had access did from GDN.

@Itchy I understand that and i knew dev kit programs can only make dev xex apps it's a suprise that Microsoft hasn't put out a signing tool on the GDN site of theirs. btw can a XDK recovery be patched to run on retail somehow if possible?

I'm not sure if Microsoft gives developers a signing tool to run software that is currently in development on a retail console, isn't that why we have Dev/Demo/Test Kit's? I think that's why your games has to go through a certification process and they run them on retail units there with their tools that they have. An XDK recovery will most likely never be patched to run on retail units because retails only have a 16MB & I believe newer slim models have 32MB Nands. The recovery will use about 64MB-66MB of space which is the size of a dev's Nand therefore the installation will freeze and brick/corrupt your retail consoles Nand. The RGLoader team split the recovery to work on Jtag's & RGH consoles, so pretty much X-Shell sits on the Nand and the Dash sits on the HDD. There's still a lot of features missing and some bugs but hopefully they update it soon.

A retail signing tool would only be one of the biggest security flaws ever, no big deal.

@kuji so if that was the case couldn't i be able to use my HDD attached to it during the installation instead of having to go through RGH'ing or Jtaging it? or it has something to do with the coding of these recoveries that makes it impossible?
