Yes ^^ this is correct. RGH is much more unstable then a jtag. I'd suggest if you keep it the way it is.
Just installed this on one of my RGH slims , it's pretty nifty if you ask me. I am stoked to see what the final version is
I realy hope it will be ported, I especialy got a Jtagable and jtaged it... now I realy want to put this on it... hmmm.... So much to do, so less time... Maybe get another xbox. Besides, can any Xbox xenon be jtaged? or only when CPUkey is known and/or dash/kernel under a specific version? RGH n00b just asking...
Jtags can be any type of xbox beside slims (trinity/corona), but have to be below the NXE dashboard (June '09 I believe). They can then be JTAG-wired and newer dashes installed via rebooter. Any JTAG updated officially at any point WILL become unJTAGable. RGH can be done on any console on any dashboard, but Xenons are highly unstable and as far as I'm aware Zephyrs aren't much better.
the xbox 1 support is kinda hit or miss, I mean, it's nice cuz you can use the old XBOX emulators (why is 360's emulator selection still abysmal?), as far as running 'non compatible' games, some work ok, but alot dont (steel battalion will boot but doesnt render, beyond good and evil runs at like 5fps) when the leaked compatibility files first came out the NFO mentioned a loader for trying various compatibility versions (I think it leaked with like 4 different replacement files), but the actual loader wasnt included and I've never seen it be pursued / posted by anyone
It was chaning the game ID of the xex so it would use a different emulator, there were 4 backend emulators and ran differently from each other so some hombrew worked on some backends.
