Rebooting the the stock kernel basically emulates the fuses being blown, if that can be done it's a matter of time before the checks that the retail kernel has in it will be removed to allow for unsigned xex's. Rather you wont to admit it or not, you know it's coming, because you dropped the price on your "prototype, super rare" dev by $300 within hours of this being released. Wait a month from now and it will be more advanced, right now it's already a great accomplishment. Xell and the emulators was just the start, and you said that will never happen and it did, in the early stages those emulators where a great start. And the ELF launcher where great, and I dont think xell's elf will die because it still has the potential to use the full hardware unrestricted by a kernel. This will eventually allow Halo Kids to mod halo without having to buy a dev kit. Because why would they spend over $1000 on a kit when they can just buy a modded console for around $400-$500 all ready to go.

Based on that thread the numbers are not wrong. I agree it is useless if you have a dev, but if not then it's great that you don't have to spend so much on a dev. I've got a dev and still waiting to see all the great things that come from this. HD codecs would be great and streaming with a console not connected to live. And of coarse allowing every body to mod halo so that they dont have a buy a kit to do so will make them happen. While it will make others mad.

Most Dev kits aren't jaspers, so running on jasper isn't that important. Ban evading, haha, yeah because you know clearing the cookies so that you can read a tread is you know, a bad thing.
