This is exactly why i dont go into my local town past 10pm. + the fact my town has a history of bludgeoning people with hammers and alot of firearms incidences. 3 people i went to school with are in prision for violent assault, put that into context i left school in 2009 and was a class of 250. You could argue that they would be more girly for continuing to drink as alcohol reduces testosterone levels and raises estrogen.

How are his cognitive abilities? I'd imagine they put him on some good opiates for the pain and likely something to keep his brain from swelling. If all he does is look like Rocky I'd say luck was on his side.

Silent daily lurker here. I have come out of hiding to share this. I was hit by a car years ago as a pedestrian and had a concussion, bruising of the brain. Unfortunately, I suffered traumatic brain injury and at the time, little was known of TBI. Even today, there isn't much awareness within the medical community, especially the emergency services doctors. Considering that your Dad lost his memory and suffered bruising or bleeding on the brain, I suggest that he get on the internet and study up on TBI. There are vital actions one can take during recovery to lessen permanent future long term effects from TBI or traumatic brain injury. Plenty of rest and doing as little as possible to let the brain heal. No alcohol and so forth. Again, plenty of information on the internet. Not to create worry, but a good quality of life post-TBI is based on the crucial period of healing and recovery. Also, if there are any personality changes that develop, emotional management issues....so forth, it's better to know what the source may be and through that, finding solutions. There is also a chance that he won't develop TBI.... just a precaution. Best of luck for your Dad's recovery and well being. I hope this creature that attacked your Dad gets his just deserts. I'm sure the police will handle this swiftly and efficiently. Glad your dad came out alright, and more power to him for having the balls to help that young woman; I wouldn't have, and he's probably a lot older than I am. This is going to follow this asshole around for the rest of his pathetic life, I assure you; it'll keep him from a good job and normal life. Little punkass deserves just that.
Problem is who will give witness unless they have a video camera inside. Best bet is if he ever sees the guy again either call the police, or when he leaves the bar drive over him and be done with it.
Sorry to hear about an unfortunate occurrence, however, I hope nothing violent would happen back to the person who instigated this. He is mentally corrupt and obviously ill prepared for the world as it is today, his life will be a downward spiral. Wishing to inflict more pain on this person than he has inflicted on others himself just shows how mentally corrupted many of you are as well. Thanks for all the well wishes...the guy has been caught , turns out he was only released two days prior on licence after a 8 month stretch for beating his girlfriend also his brother came to my dads house to "tell" my dad to drop the charges, unfortunately for him me and my four brothers were visiting at the time and he went away with more than he bargained for ;D
Damn straight HEX1GON the death penalty needs to be brought back but sadly it probably won't happen, America in general has become a bunch of cowardly politically correct pussies that are afraid of being "inhumane" to criminals even when the criminals were completely inhumane to their victims.
