how on earth do you find anything on yahoo japan? i went through a middleman to buy some soundtracks a couple years ago, but that was almost more trouble than it was worth(it would have been cheaper to just buy them off of ebay after the middleman and shipping fees)

i sort of want to get some of the famicom castlevania games but think that it could get very expensive very fast.

sign up on Yahoo Japan and you can browse yourself...
if you need to buy something though you will need either the middle man or relatives in Japan... :p

  3. Who's a middle man willing to send to usa?

yeah i made an account a couple years ago on yahoo japan, but i can never find what i am looking for, it.

i went through the seller jerold llama, his ebay name is m-2 you can probably get ahold of him easiest by asking a question in one of his ebay aucitons, tho i was kind of pissed he forgot to bid on one of the items i asked him to bid on, tho he did get a couple others that i wanted.

iirc, he wants between 15 and 25 dollars for a middleman fee per item(this is on top of all shipping) so most of the time it is just cheaper (and less complicated) to buy items off of ebay. but for the items that you never see on ebay, go through yahoo japan.

i think one of the other middlemen was celga, but i never used them so cant vouch for them.

If that stays at 1000 yen then it's not a bad price. Wouldn't pay more that 2000 yen for it though. There's a cool video on that or is it part 2? That takes you around Falcoms office and shop.

Not sure. You only listed the picture, not the auction.

Ooh, not a bad price either but I can see that going sky high before the auction ends in 2 days :(

    *EDIT*

Just noticed that it says FAMICOMBOX on it but also Nintendo Entertainment System !! Does this mean it plays JPN and US games?

Just a FamicomBox, it's not like SUPER rare or anything, just really heavy. They don't play JPN or US games, they play special Famicombox titles (only like 30 released)

Yup, that's exactly what it is. When you turn it on, you're greeted with a menu like a Playchoice machine and to play, you have to continually pop in money to buy time. To accomodate this, games and the FamicomBox aren't standard games/hardware. The games released for it are all pretty meh
