Never heard about that... what is it then? I can't see any hint for a Hibaihin... I always thought Taroumaru was the most expensive retail Saturn game?!

 

Common game, i have a brand new one.
it's a fake bidding war, game is now at 2500 Yens.

 

There is the other Monogatari game, I thought it was a quite rare?

Monogatari is a very common word in video game titles. It means Tale/Story...

the game you're showing is factory sealed,that probably explains why it goes for 10000 yens (which is, relatively, not a really high sum)

 

The game ave listed is definitely rarer than Madou Monogatari. The most I've seen MM for the Saturn go for was like 3000 yen and that was w/ the strategy guide (which is kind of hard to find).

Saturn (the best one, AFAIK... I've played a few hours of it)
SFC
Game Gear (Madou Monogatari I-III)
Mega Drive ( " " )
PC-Engine (only part I which is an ACD... II & III were cancelled)
The latter three (and maybe the SFC version which I own, but haven't played) feature similar 3D dungeon crawler play, which is somewhat bad. The Saturn version is a more traditional isometric roaming RPG, but there are many corners cut, such as "grid" backgrounds in towns & dungeons.

 

Good price I think, even with the little tear on the front (loads have this tear!!!).

 

You forgot MSX versions, Mado Monogatari A for Game Gear,etc..

But maybe it is also because the game is popular and not just because it's factory sealed? The benefit items like the calandar sell for quite a bit also.

What is going on on Yahoo Auctions?!
An auction ended last week and someone outbid me with 77 yen, auction lost..oh well..such is life. Now I returned to to look at said auction and somehow the top bidder disappeared I am the one with the winning bid!

Anyone has an idea of what happened and if I won the auction after all?

I had that on a new MD Karaoke Unit recently. My max was 2000 yen off thw winning bid yet I still won as well. The seller had several new ones and sold them in batches of 2, but individually in 1 auction if you see what I mean (is that a dutch auction?). What was odd was that I was actually the third highest bidder but won the second of the new units (I had bid on other stuff from that seller so perhaps he wanted one less parcel to send out so made me the winner)

 

Simple, the seller didn't want to deal with the highest bidder.
Then he cancelled his bid,after auction...but normally you should have received an email asking you if you accept to be the highest bidder,and if you agree,then the auction end with your name on it,and you have "access" to his/her email.

That, or multiple items auction (you can see it easily)

 

If he's going through a deputy service, he won't get this email though (unless they of course notify him). It's been years, but I've seen glitches in YJ's system. I once put in a winning bid w/ a few seconds left. The page said the other guy won (w/ a lower bid) but I got the winning notification in the mail.

 

Guess it's time to contact Celga

 

If that is the case i was pointing at, if you see your name on the ending page, then celga accepted to "take the win".Otherwise the old winner name would still be online.

Like Gaijinpunch said, maybe it's a glitch too..
