I only see 17 32x games too, but I haven't checked his list properly yet (so no 18 could be there)

That question is pretty easy to answer. If nobody bids on it, no.

I think it is worth for resale, IF:
    - You could save on shipping by shipping seamail the loose games,EMS the rare valuable ones,etc..
    - You can pay directly the guy
    - You have PLENTY of time to sell them 1 by 1..will be easy for the hard to find games, and a real pain for mahjong & sport games

Otherwise,no,it isn't worth for reselling..but price is still interesting if you were ready to go for a full set...you win time&money...but where is the pleasure of the hunt? :)

    Well,on the pic you see only 2 "hard cased" 32x games...but you can't see titles...there are 3:
    WWF Raw
    NBA Jam Tournament Edition
    NFL Quaterback Club 95

By checking his description, the seller has WWF Raw (listed twice, MD & 32X versions),NBA Jam Tournament Edition AND NFL NFL Quaterback Club 95

Then one of those 3 is probably somewhere else.. :)

I think that is not true, I am told you could buy them from shops and mail-order (not Tetris though).

I know for sure you could mail order Go-Net yes,but it wasn't for sale in shops.
I suppose Smisey Home,etc...could be mail ordered at Sumitomo company as well, and Nagoya Home Banking at the bank...

    But shops?

A friend that has all of them told me that. If you could buy them in any way, it is not classed as a "Not For Sale" game. I think if you search for a Sega Megadrive "Not For Sale" list, none of them are listed, just Tetris out of the ones you said.

He is just a friend. He is from Japan and has been collecting for a long time. I think you must have friends that help you, or source as you put it.

Whats on with it? A refurbished unit? But 44k is still an average price for a minty fmt model 2, isnt it?

Not refurbished, a replaced belt I think. Just very pricey, twice what they usually go for. Minty 2s are quite easy to find, 1s not so.

I felt pretty comfortable with the price. Demand goes up and down, and right now demand if high for FM Towns. I sold a boxed FM Marty 1 for $300 in about 30 minutes. I think a complete and boxed 2 will get a premium. I have a couple of buyers for it so the chances of it seeing eBay are 50-50.

...and I can't say I've seen them around that much. Where can you find them easily? heheh...I'd like to buy all of them. The FM Marty's of any kind are in tight supply these days. Check on Yahoo and see how many you can find. Usually there are only 1-2 available at any time with a Marty 2 popping up 1-2 times a month. And of those proabbly less than 10% are boxed.

On eBay right now you have 0 for sale and only a couple overall sales in the last 3 months, none of them being boxed FM Marty 2s. So, who knows. I think the time is right. Plus with the exchange rate the final is $375.

Agree with all of that. In fact you prolly only see Marty 2s in that condition on Yahoo once a year. I was just saying that 40k yen was still a bit much imo that's all.

I could tell you where I satisfy my Marty/Towns lust..but then I'd have to kill you lol.

But hey, if they're going that high right now I best start selling. My Marty/Towns spares alone (consoles and games) would rival most collections.

Yeah, they used to go for less, but then again I wasn't bidding that much either so I'm partly responsible for the price jump right now. Yahoo has had some new blood come in and they've been pushing the prices up pretty high on some stuff. I just had a gut feeling it would sell so I went for it. But my gut has been wrong before. ;)
