Yeah, I know too well that 50'000 is over the top but you never know, someone might actually buy it :D I don't expect it to sell though. Sort of testing the water if you will

It's a "controller test cassette", he doesn't give more info on that. I believe it was used to test a controller's functions?! Can't explain the name anyhow else.

There is also a Playstation Debugger Station (Blue DTL-H1000) on there. The starting bid on it is ridiculous though in my opinion. I don't see this one selling but you never know. It sucks to finally find one but to find it way overpriced.

I sold two sealed DLJSR Dreamcast Direct packs for cheaper than that a few months ago. Love that fucking game... so wish we'd get another one. :(

There's a DLJSR boxset up too these days, for 20k buy-it-now iirc.

actually i believe this is not the net yaroze but rather the "region free" play station. going by the box it does not say net yaroze. i believe this was on assemblers museum page years ago in like 2001 and was said to be different to the net yaroze?

I thought all the Black Playstation console were Net Yaroze. Hmmmm.

Matted Black PS1's are all Net Yaroze, but there are also some that are just black which are not Yaroze. This auction, however, lists the model number as being DTL, which would lead me to believe it is indeed a Yaroze.

I thought the same thing. The DTL-H3001 on the box lead to believe it was a Yaroze.

It's a Yaroze for the North American market. The odd thing about the box the console itself comes in, is that while the DTL model ID is very prominently displayed, the Net Yaroze logo doesn't appear anywhere & the only mention of 'Net Yaroze' is in small print in the Precautions notes on the rear of the box.

The Yaroze logo does appear on the box that the North American software, manuals, dongle & cables come in though.

That's weird. I have seen boxes before that didn't have the Net Yaroze Logo on them but I don't know if they only did it on the Japan versions or what.

For the Japanese release Software Dev Tools box, they didn't use a logo either, but instead had ネットやろうぜ (netto yarōze in katakana) on each side. Not sure about the JP console box, as I don't have one to hand, but I'd assume it was similar.
