Do you have a LaserActive system or had it been for your collections sake?

 

I have a NEC Laseractive so I would have used it, not got any games for the Laseractive yet, mainly as the decent ones are expensive.

In Japan you always read this number. It is written in collectors books too. They always say 8 copies for Rockman. We will never know if the figure is right until Capcom makes an official statement.

 

I think we were talking about Kunio Kun Tournament Special gold Cart for SFC.

For Rockman 4 gold carts,there was 8 copies only indeed. Offered to the 8 lucky winners who sent their drawings for boss character design.The difference is that the cart is gold and IIRC,their name appear in the manual or on rolling staff screen.

 

Why is this beta so expensive? I bought mine for 2000 yens 2 years ago.

 

I like so much the newer Yahoo Auctions design, now it is more eBay like, with the big [nyuu"bid kanji lol" ha kochira] button in the front of the screen, in the old system, in the right in a small square, I needed half an hour to find the damn bid button. xDDDDDDDD

EDIT: I don't like it so much now: where is the "only ships to japan / ships internationally" placed? I assume is Japan only now?

 

I'm afraid I hate the new Yahoo look. So much more cluttered and a pain in the arse to find stuff just like EBay. The older style was so simple and easy to find everything. Adding auctions now is more of a pain in the arse as well. One thing I did notice is that the English description option is now missing.

Past history only, unfortunately. The point being though, the 20 number came up from fans buying them and noticing the kanji. And even if Cave said, "yeah, 20 only" you can never trust it. They've reprinted the last two black labels that were only going to be "100" or "150" pieces. They stopped writing it on the flyer for the next one it seems though.

I wish they weren't like that. I hate seeing the last true arcade company whoring themselves out like that. Just seems... cheap.

 

I completely agree with you.Unfortunately there's a big HYPE over Cave,and then they reprint games,to sell even more (financially talking,that'd be stupid to not sell extra PCBs).

 

I agree... and welcome it in all cases except when a game is advertised as "LIMITED TO 150 PCS ZOMG!"

this certainly backfired tho.. neither IBK nor MFBL are sold out in spite of such an advertising simply because CAVEs word on the matter isnt worth shite.
the very first batch of IBK sold out fairly quickly as i recall, its the reprinted batch of 150 pcs that still remains...
