It's actually the second time it's listed, first time it was listed for I think 5000, and then sold for something liek 16000 if I'm not wrong:rolleyes:

Can't say for sure it's the same, but the pictures look quite similar, as far as I my memory goes.

There are 3 PS2 Tools on yahoo right now, 2 Celeron533 models and one Pentium233, each of them is at 5000 yens for now:

The 3rd one is probably the most interesting, it comes with the external hdd, and that hdd has a sticker on it, so it might not be empty...

damn you! lol... I just want the emu boards out of one of those first 2!

not going to deal with 2-300$ ems shipping on top of whatever it eventually goes for, auction service costs, etc, just to get those boards though...

wait- huh? then why is there a single solid pci backplane next to the sbc on the first two?

    EDIT
(thanks for the response below- i was unaware the 533 actually broke out the serial)- thanks for the heads up- I was seriously in talks with a friend in japan to try and snag one and pull the parts i'd need.

I guess that explains the screws then.. doesn't explain WHY they put the serial port in if they didn't want people to use it as it's actually extra parts to use....

It's the serial port, on the Celeron533 model, it is on a second bracket.

Super Famicom controller test cart, 8000Y
    http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m49615340
For years, people have imported them from Japan and tried to flip them for several times what they're worth. Now YOU can import and flip one!

Takahashi Meijin's theme song cassette, 10000Y or best offer
    http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h131964926
I'm not nearly lunatic enough to bid on this, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't morbidly curious

The Super Mario anime movie, 15000Y
    http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w47225213

Supposedly from the USA but I've never seen one: a Mario&Yoshi Casio keyboard
    http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m68585290
Note also the incongruous "Super Mario Bros 4" label - was it called that anywhere outside Japan?

    Mario glassware from America, 6000Y:

Seems to be nothing more but two versions of the title song of Takahashi Meijin no Bouken-jima (TM's Adventure Island) for the Famicom.

The second side contains a "synchronized" version, now I'd be dying to hear a translation of that hahah.

I hope we don't all drive up the prices on this FDS disk. I'm bidding for the purposes of *ahem* public preservation.
