I think they were only made as a present (never for sale), and the contents of them are different.

I think the first auction has got the video as well. But though, I think there should be a poster too?

Right, they were given away to 10 resp. 15 winners out of a quiz. hence, this soft is considered as ultra rare!

What exactly is San San by the way? Oh, and I've seen it for about 23'000Yen a couple of years back at Retro Friends (akiba), I was surprised it was that "cheap". I'd always thought it was closer to Mega Anser or Nagoya in terms of rarity/price.

It's a Go game. You could play it over the modem.

A few years ago it was that rare, really rare. Virtually no info I could find, no piccies, noone knew about it really, nothing that I found anyway. I exchanged emails with many knowledgeable md people, Adol, Jamtex and so on, even did a thread here and noone knew of it. Then emailed the site on the offchance and they had old stock, sold me an NOS copy for 5000 yen shipped. Happy days. They had quite a few so sold the rest on yahoo. 1st couple hit 50-60k, then levelled more at 15-30, and same sort of price now when resold usually. They had quite a few lol so it's not rare at all now. Even on Ebay now and then. Although I believe it was a mail order only item, never store sale, so for a complete copy I'd include the branded shipping box, which you never see for sale it seems. ;-)

I remember that I was told it was not for sale in shops, too. I think it is a special software, but not like hibaihin special software. I think it is one of my favourite items of this kind just because of the colourful jacket. ^_^

wheelaa, to be complete fully, should it not have the extra manual and envelope as well?

Not sure on that, i thought those were more 'extras' lying around the office. I thought originally it was just that cart sent in that box, no envelope or room for sheets, but I could well be wrong. I've seen a couple with extra bundle of papers, I'll look for the pictures.

I saw some auctions in the past thad had them, I think that's why I was wondering I guess. But, I had not seen the box like you have got before.

But, I think it reminds me of how difficult it can be to collect hibaihin software fully complete like that. Just collecting hibaihin games without the shipping box/envelope is ok still though, right (for us mortals)? ^_^

Considering the bundle includes both Doshin 2 & Pro Golf Tour, it becomes clear why so many people bid on it. And on ebay I've hardly seen such a complete (software) set, most bundles only contain the standard crap such as Sim City, F-Zero, Mario Artists and the 1st doshin.

    Still, 100k is shocking. :-(
