Well, between 2 Mini's now, my job and farting around with pc's, I've collected over a dozen RC cars. A lot of fun to work on over the winter when the Mini's are away. Offroad, on road, electric an nitro. Just finished a tamiya m05 tonight, and am working on my slash and a tamiya f104 Ferrari edition Ryan
You can find some of those old ones, there are a few citroens and peugeots around that are still drivable But if you want newer ones like the C6 or the 207rc you're SOL You too? we should make a club or something:thumbsup:
I used to have an R32 VSPEC. I loved that car. I ran it every weekend in the mountains. The only thing I hated about the car was the HICAS.
Outside of gaming i'm into anime/comics and been collecting watches for a few years now (up to 17 watches right now which might be a bit much )
Pics of whole collection? If they're 1024x or better I'll throw them on my blog, for whatever that's worth (not much). The C6 and current Alfa Spider are the two cars I most wish were sold here, but alas.... I also collect political buttons (mainly for POTUS), to add on to my earlier post. I have like 1,300+, including TR, McKinley, Taft, Wilson, tons of FDR, etc. Along with that, I have a small collection of very old political cartoons (originals). I generally concentrate on NY City Tammany Hall/Boss Tweed-related cartoons or Reconstruction/Carpetbagger-related stuff, although there is some local Washington DC stuff (my hometown, so our first mayors, etc) thrown in for good measure.
Ola chaps. Long time no see... sorta. I'm still in and out of hospital. My concentration/memory/motivation is still somewhat unrealiable in one form or another. They are however getting closer to some answers now though. It has only taken 4 years since my crash to get this far (eugh) and may still take another 4 years to fully investigate everything properly! Anyhow my hobbies are now as such: 1. Learning about my symptoms aand their suspected causes. There are currently 2 candidates for a pre-trauma illness which is in part masked by the acquisition of dissociation and several possible causes for the Neurological issues too, if any. 2. Learning about my family history. I have been doing all of the research myself which helps to pass the time and it is somewhat challenging, especially when you have a relative who is 27 years old at marriage and 2 years later they are still 27 years old on Census! I have spent hundreds of pounds in recent months on birth, marriage and death certificates on the direct bloodline from myself to 1837. I still have a long way to go, especially if I branch out to include siblings and in-laws, but the experience and the answers thus far has been rewarding. 3. I guess studying the law etc is a hobby for instigating some legal action of my own. I am currently at a disability tribunal. The government sees fit to shaft everyone by default then make them go through 18 months of hell to get what was rightfully theirs to begin with. My first tier tribunal hasn't gone my way, in part because for some reason they rather bizzarely had a Paediatrician on the tribunal judging me when my issues are well outside his jurisdiction. Anyhow I am fighting the good fight, I am a bit of an underdog in this situation but I fully intend to come out on top and feel better for having done the work myself. On a side note I have worked out I have been legally scammed of at least £110k in disability premiums alone and have missed out on working tax credits amongst other issues too with no obvious recourse. I am also planning to take my bank to court in the new year with regards to unlawful bank charges which are separate to the issuess addressed by the failed OFT test case, so keep your eyes peeled! 4. Eggplant_Casserole/Retro had me playing Mafia Wars on Facebook and for a while it was fun. I achieved a level in days/weeks which took him months to get to haha, though admittedly with some of his help I also have a PlayStation 3 now which I was palying rather extensively throughout the summer. I don't use it as much for games at the moment, mostly as a media player, but my PSN ID is: AdrianLawrence83 (it barely fits!) for those that are interested. Please don't add it to discuss my unreleased games or prototypes though, only to kick my ass seeing as my ass kicking days are over Also note for those of you which have me on Steam I have been VAC banned for some time now and I got pissed off with Blizzard so I'm also banned on World of Warcraft too 5. I've also been jotting my thoughts on philosphy, physics and theology. Watch this space It is a shame my collection was sold off but I hope those who received it have made good use of it and may one day sell it back to me Ciao for now!
I like to play guitar  I also have a fondness for collecting old 80s/90s punk rock music, mainly from the California punk scene. Also, playing the hell out of any Sonic game that comes my way :cur_sonic:
I collect alot of 1/6 figures, there very cool but alot of money , the resident evil series is really nice but go for about 300.-800. each now
a couple of pages back I mentioned that I design robots. Here's a sneak peek of my upcoming robot: http://xmog123x.blogspot.com/2011/02/finished-design-assembly-wip-pics.html
Not sure how I overlooked this. I also collect Tamagotchis and other virtual pets, preferably anything that was circa-1997 or thereabouts when the craze was going on. Here's the not-quite-updated Flickr set with my collection: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25360719@N08/sets/72157623715959257/
That's a nice collection you have there, WanganRunner. My hobbies? Band. http://soundcloud.com/the-wax-dramatic Record Collecting. Gaming. And other illicit things I daren't mention.
Urbex sounds like loads of fun. Shame there's not much to explore around where I live. I broke into a disused pub with my friends once though. Used it as a crack den.
