Mine would be collecting movie memorabilias....couple it with games collecting & now I know why I'm constantly broke...
I like to program. I know Java and Robot C. Robot C is a variant of C++ that is used to program robots. I am head programmer of the robotics team at my school and this year I am going to be one of two team captins. I also programed som minecraft plugins. The most popular of these was RWtorchLight. It is a simple, but useful server plugin that allows torches to emit light. It has 10,000+ downloads and I have gotten some money and free curse premium membership from it (now i'm just bragging (or trying to)). Currently it is a hobby, but in a year, I plan to go into college for it. I might even try at making an indie platformer inspired by the 3rd and 4th generations of gaming.
Its nice seeing a lots of different types of hobbies in here. I've been road racing an integra type r for the past 7 years. We've been through lots together
My other hobbies are playing acoustic guitar, classical guitar, E-guitar, bass; collecting DVD's; Skateboarding; reading biography's of musicians,
I like making music and art. Here's some recent pixel images I made for fun. pinky by Y=MX+B, on Flickr
Doing some amateur voice acting in video game parodies and other various online animations. Though I may also help with scripts or other stuff on them so not just limited to voice work.
I voice act for Indie games. My latest project was an Ouya game where I voiced a captain. XD I am returning for another Indie as well.
I guess my biggest hobby is pixelart/spriting, with non-digital drawing on the side. In terms of things that require physical activity (ughh), I enjoy the occasional game of golf, tennis, or shooting some hoops.
Its upcoming, titled ShipwreckedYa by Momo games, being published by Ouya themselves through the Free The Games fund. That's really all I know. I just did some vocals for it, nothing else so I don't know much.
Thanks. I'll check it out once it's released. Mind if I ask what your recording set up is? (If you don't mind me asking of course, if you don't want to mention it publicly just let me know if I can drop you a PM mate). I'm always curious to see what sort of equipment everyone else uses or recommends. ... I'm starting to think that I just like collecting audio equipment after getting my Father's old radio and DJ equipment when I was younger.
Join some robotic competitions (mostly Lego Mindstorms NXT and sometimes Arduino), and build/mod custom PCs.
^ Had to do that as well. Sucks when you get put onto a team and nobody else paid any attention about programming said robot's functions.... Anyway. I am also now into 1/6 scale figures. I'll put some photos up in here sometime soon but I currently have a select few custom kitbashes of Biohazard/Resident Evil characters (seeing as Capcom is NEVER going to get another Claire one retailed) and half of the Hannibal television show cast! .... I need to make some dioramas now that I think about it.... But that'll be after I finish making my Hannibal Wendigo's antlers, repainting it and painting the custom Numo sculpt of Chris Redfield among other things... I wonder if the tactical vest for the CODE: Veronica Wesker has soaked up enough black dye... I ought to check that.
Apart from modding, and running a site and forum; my other hobby is cooking. I'm a pretty good cook actually!
You & me both, Bacteria. I love cooking! Always trying to refine each of my dishes through constant practice of making a certain meal over & over until I am satisfied. Also am totally into programming. C++ mainly, with a dab of other languages. Been trying to conceive a good idea for an Android app, as well.
