A couple buddies and I recently started recording a weekly podcast. We just talk about movies, sports, etc. And each week we come up with some sort of top five list. We've recorded seven episodes, each with some sort of technical issue. xD But it's become just a fun little hobby.
I've played guitar for quite awhile and I'm wanting to get a band started, but not gotten too far. So far I've played keytar for a hip-hop band haha.
Football or "soccer" as us stupid North Americans call it and anime are probably my main 2 competitors for my time other than video games. Can't wait for the Euro Cup to start, GO IRELAND!!! (Yes I know there going to lose, I still gotta cheer anyways lol)
I experiment with computers in my spare time, and enjoy being frustrated by how my copy of Windows XP won't detect my hard drive in my spare laptop but windows 7 will...
Other than gaming my other hobbies include studying programming languages I am skilled in C++, java, ruby, and x86 Assembly. I like to study different computer architectures to know how they work. I like fixing computers and gaming consoles. Apart from the technical stuff my other hobbies include music, making music I play guitar and bass and some piano. I like taking care of my dogs (I got a pug, a basset hound, and a Yorkie) after a stressful days its nice to chill with them. and at nights I am into body building, and Jogging wish it wasn't so hot over here in South Texas so i could do more stuff outside.
Trying to make music. :cool-new: Got the PX-130 and cheap korean electroguitar. I graduated а musical school when I was 16 so there is no problem with musical skills but haven't much time for it. F***n job. Dont want to work. LOL
I used to play music for a living, but, now I do it for fun. My review show is just a hobby I take seriously, until it starts making money. I love to tinker, I guess. Wood, silicon, whatever.
Love doing reviews, reading comics and collecting statues and figures of game characters, DC, Marvel etc etc.
School Learning douche retro gaming (snes to ps2 era typically) reading novels e: oops I meant Deutsch
I make stop-motion videos, I want to learn how to draw so's I can start drawing a webcomic and I wanna learn how to do animation. Thats all that comes to mind at the moment so yeah.
I want to buy a RC car again, the technology as advance alot over 15 years. These new cars have ipod connector docks on the controller. pretty sweet!
I have leveled off with the hobbies as my free time has disappeared lately. Some current interests: * Nitro RC monster truck - weekend warrior on life support till I can get to the hobby shop * Driving my MY06 WRX STI - Finally finished the stage 2 mods and fixed a few problem areas * Gaming - mainly my Astro city, swapping between Raiden DX and a 60 in 1; plus stuff on Steam once I get it reinstalled due to corruption. :-( * Music, currently st's and industrial noise - Found a great company Finders Keepers Records for avante garde 70's artists and rare st's; Also waiting for an order from Hands Productions. * Films - been catching up on some old releases, plus my haul from the Criterion sale at B&N and getting ready for our first screening in September. ^_^_^
Aside from the obvious, video games, I dabble in photography, writing, art (traditional and digital) and collecting (just about everything). I've always wanted to play an instrument, but haven't really put an effort into it since elementary school. If your laptop was made within the past 4 years or so, the problem could be an issue with Windows XP not having native support for SATA. Enabling PATA/IDE emulation in the BIOS or locating SATA drivers should get things going. If that's not the case, then I'm as stumped as you are.
My hobbies outside gaming mainly involve music or typical stuff. I'm a guitarist and I play in a covers band, we perform just about every single weekend including weddings and stuff so that's one other area I thrive in other than my passion for video games. Outside of that it's just the typical thing of spending time with my friends whenever we all have the time to, a few beers, few laughs etc.
Oh boy, someone posting a link to an online-shop! I better buy something right now for lots of $$$, thanks so much for the heads up!!!
