What? Hell no. The PSP game is still amazing (not as great on the story side but mechanics wise is even better). VC3 for psp shaping up to be the best one yet; More adult tone, story book setup (like from the first), giant tank battles, better art style, .. As well, the Yakuza series & Phantasy Star Zero & Portable 2 where great. If you haven't played & beaten yakuza 2, the you don't know what you're missing.
Shit, I must've been looking at Valkyrie Profile (which hasn't probably ever had anything to do with Sega) on the Tri-Ace or whatever they're called page on Wikipedia. Not like it really matters as far as that whole list is concerned.
