emotionnal in a way it is (i feel like yoda! ),you remember alot of things from the old school zelda games. the game is really good, and i must admit that at first, i wasn't one of those rare winwaker style lover, but now i like it alot. i also thought it was better than oot (wich is really good, but over-hyped). WW, on the other side, is really under-rated.
Wind Waker was great. I love cel-shaded graphics. The only thing I didn't like was sailing all over the place. Fun game... but as w/ most Zelda's, I wish there was more dungeon.
Its crazy,I made a prediction some time ago that the twilight princess would would come out on the revolution. This is what I said on another forum. And I think Nintendo is making a mistake releasing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes on the Gamecube. They should hold off and release it on the Revolution. Well thats my theory.
Damn, that's two years in a row now that a major holiday release (Resident Evil 4 being the first) gets pushed back. This can't bode well for Nintendo, and without some big holiday title on the DS or GBA, they're really going to be in a tight spot. Maybe the Gameboy Micro, now that there's a release date announced, will keep things selling long enough for Twilight Princess to come around. Bottom line though, is they're making a colossal mistake letting this one slip by for the holiday season.
Guys, tell me if Nintendo have EVER released a game or system when thery said the would. I'm not at all surprised this has been put back. Yakumo
I thought Wind Waker was an alright game (nothing spectacular) even with the annyoing ammount of sailing necessary to get anywhere. But (spoilers): When Zelda, who had lived her entire, or close to, life as a rought captain of a band of pirates found out she was a princess and (magicly) grew a gown, adorned makeup, became frail and week in gesture and action, and then (litteraly) climbed under a large rock for protection while awaiting Link to protect her and save the world, the sexism reached new heights and it pissed me off. I don't care that alot of games portray girls as being heavily sexual, but to blatently disreguard and ignore a characters entire life in favor of making her a 'girly-girl' at the turn of a coin, is bullshit.
Shame Nintendo can't meet the deadline, but I think no one wants to see Nintendo do a LoZ: The Wind Waker again... They rushed that game, scrapping over three dungeons, and this really shows. This move shows Nintendo wants to deliver this time. I have respect for that, but I am afraid the game will suffer in sales as a result of being released after the holiday season. Sure it will probably sell as much or even more as The Wind Waker, Super Smash Brothers perhaps even, but it might not live up to it's full potential. It all depends on when it will be released in 2006, the longer they wait, the less the anticipation will be. Look at FFXII.
