Sorry Yakumo, I didn't purchase a Framemeister from you. Solaris had them at a very low price so I ended up getting it from them instead. Too bad with customs the final price end up more then your ems price.

But I will say this was worth every penny once it had RGB plugged in, with S Video everything seem washed out or oversaturated.

I made a video response to Reviewtechusa to show it in action.

Yep, the deal seems cheaper but they don't lower the value on their custom forms so you end up being stung by import tax. Oh well.

Glad you like the system. They really are great, aren't they.

Good to hear. There seems to have been a boost in sales the last 3 weeks. Must be all the tax returns.

Anyone knows if there is a specific framemeister scart cable pinout/tutorial to convert the factory JP one for EU usage?
Just placed an order with Yakumo, I don't think one should bother with other resellers... ;)

You can actually buy a Euro to NTSC-J cable for the Framemeister from retrogamingcables. Co. Uk

I've just added a video to my YouTube channel showing how to update the firmware on a Framemeister XRGBmini.

@keropi: How did your cable rewiring work out?
Did you rewire the original cable and just swap the pins from JP21 to EURO or make a new cable?
And what about your sync issues with NESRGB?

I'm curious to know if you could fix everything and what the problem was.

I rerwired the supplied JP adapter to EU standard , it was an easy job with the schematic here: http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:micomsoft_xrgb-mini_framemeister and this diagram:

I couldn't get good results with the NESRGB. Everything else is fine though.
I've sent the framemeister to a friend that I did his nesrgb mod and it works perfect for him. My tv sets apparently don't like the nesrgb either via direct connection or via framemeister in RGB mode (both famicom AVs displayed the same problem in my tv sets, on his it's perfect...)
You can read more of that here: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=49677 , apparently there are others with the same issue.
IMHO it's the nesrgb's signals fault or something... but I doubt something will be done about it tbh :\

Very handy schematics you've posted there. That will help an awful lot of users.

    Thanks, keropi!

Sucks, that you have sync issues with your NESRGB. :/ Gonna get myself a NESRGB modded toploader in the next few weeks and hopefully I won't have the same problems.

    G'day all,
Are the scanlines working properly at 1080p now

If so, can someone post pics? Really keen to see the results.
    Cheers!

They seem to be just the same as always. I did notice that 480p stuff such as Dreamcast or some PS2 games now looks much better in 1080p however. Sort of like the DC VGA mode but in full HD.
