1CHIP SNES SuperCIC and mod help

The internal oscillator is factory calibrated (other than in a PIC16F630 e.g.) and has 8MHz +/-1% according to the datasheet, i.e., 7.92MHz - 8.08MHz. Even with this the PIC should be able to cope at least with the AJR games easily and also with most non-AJR.
So this question blows my mind. I never had any PICs where I had problems with !?
I ordered two 16F1503 samples from Microchip. This PIC is pin-compatible to the 16F684, a bit cheaper and has a 16MHz internal oscillator... This should help to further increase compatibility.

I'm having trouble with my supercic+uigr installation in my 1chip. I'm using bad_ad84's board.

My snes does the following:
At power on, LED turns orange then turns off. I can get it to turn green if i hold reset but it still turns off after about 1 second.

Maybe you can tell me if i have something missing:

Lifted CPU pin 111 and soldered the lifted pin to cpu pad on supercic board
Lifted s-rgb pin 9 and soldered the lifted pin to the s-rgb pad on the supercic board
D4 unconnected
All remaining pins soldered to appropriate points on board underside
Cic chip removed entirely
X1 removed entirely
+5V and GND taken from cart connector pins 27 and 36 respectively

 

All sounds good. Are you certain its pin 111 and not 110 or 112? I have done that a couple of times by mistake.

How are you connecting the CIC points? to the original pads or the alt points on the back?

 

I'm pretty certain it's pin 111.
I connected to the alt points on the back. Hopefully none are switched.
I'll post some photos on sunday since i'm away right now.

EDIT: I accidentally bridged s-rgb pin 9 to ground. I fixed the problem and it works now. Thanks!

 

Pal 1-Chip Snes supercic doesnt work????

I installed this in a Pal 1-chip snes but i cant get it to work. NTSC games works but no pal games that require 50hz. Cant switch to 50hz it behave like a NTSC snes. Any ideas? the led doesnt light up either?

Triple check all your connections, the soldering looks passable at best.
The led won't work if you don't solder the 50/60Hz pins to LED legs.
Some better pictures would help a lot. The lighting is terrible and we can't tell if you've even oriented the chips correctly.
What's the wire on the SCIC clk pad going to? Why not just close the SCIC jumper instead?
