I prefer Sega, that's what I grew up with. Though I have both now, it's good to play some snes games too.

It's a pitty that the first SoR/BK only run on 30fps or so. So I'm about to DL the 3D remake on the 3DS. I heard it runs on 60fps now :)

And by the time he realized ROB was lame, he had Mario. GENIUS!!!

Genesis, I could play a lot of its games for ages, over and over.

Though, the GBA does come in close, as it's got the only RPG series I've ever really enjoyed.

What cases exactly do you refer to? Both censorship and release policies.

I agree, the censorships were a problem back in the day which was a hella annoying in Nintendo's department! At least it wasn't an issue with Sega which is why i love them & the reason i had a Genesis

MK, Wolfenstein, Earthbound, and a lot of NES games had censorship from the Japanese release, and Nintendo was slow to move some games across the ocean (this was the first time we really saw multiregion game launches too)

Hell, even NES Parodius da! had a hilarious censorship in the west, or didn't even show up at all..haha!! SNES version was as bad as well.

I like both really, both have a lot of my favorites and they both have things unique enough that it's hard to pick one or the other.

Could you elaborate? North America never saw the game, what was done for the European release? And what about the SNES version?

Nintendo actually marketed their censorship policies as a plus as if it was a good thing.

and people wonder why I still hate Nintendo to this day.

another not not based on 22 years ago but now, anything really good on the SNES seems to be stupidly overpriced whereas the megadrive/genesis games are mostly reasonably priced and widely available, of course with a few exceptions. but you're not going to have any problems getting golden axe or streets of rage etc. which i think tells a tale in itself over who won :)

    Clearly SEGA.

would be so nice if a few random warehouses packed with stuff were uncovered somewhere and the market was flooded, that'd be awesome.

quite true. I remember seeing ads for import stores in EGM and how much more awesome Super Famicom games seemed.

and SOON very soon I will own some of them.

I certainly hope it's a fad. While retrogaming is awesome, the mess of people just out to make a buck and such that don't care about playing the actual games suck.
