Do you have a tip as to where I could find a decent kit for a Yoroi armour? Does not have (=should not be) life size, but I'd live to work on such a project.

The Dagashiya project looks amazing. When it comes to gaming, I can hardly think of something cozier than the game corner of a Japanese 1980s candy shop that is run by some grandma. I think I've been reading too much Pico-pico Shounen manga or it's the over-consumption of Game Center CX... one of these...

    hello there,
yep , in our childhood (except the scarce arcades which where in bars we had to run & run exiting school to play few minutes sometimes.. to avoid missing the rare transport bus, to home...) we had this kind of proximity shop near school in the "kansai" of france..., and i dont know why but felt interest in the summer time pictures of manga "20th centuryboys" imagining what could be their chilldhood. plus the so good & respect of https://twitter.com/hijiyan_jp , that drove me in this quest..

for the yoroi armor, hard times to research the email ! and dont remember how i got the intel,
    there it is :
    usagijuku@nifty.com
he's kind to send the patterns from ages, (but there's missing some files to complete all).

it's hot from few days.. our progress for the helmet & other stuff (much work to do)...

and least... i'm close to get a good heavy arcade machine for one good ambiance, from loads of searches, only 2 places on earth have that stylish line...

    3 twins = 1,5 tons
    15 japanese cabs = 1,5 tons

with just that there are the 3 tons yet ooops.. with all the paraphernalia & things as dedicated (Afterburner dlx, Resident evil code veronica, Punchmania hokuto no ken, ...) 15 pinballs (~2,5tons... ) it's more about "8" tons i figure..

reading & viewing is an important matter, some goods around

thanks but it's not a true collection in sense of gaming only, mostly searching nowadays for.. past ambiances, so loads of paraphernalia that doesnt seem at first glance "gaming" like.. but sure add the real feel of 80's-90's ambiances..

the picture you quote ain't the best , old memories piled in tetris unluckily..till this day even :/

    __
madness proder & ultra rarity first. the only one repro in the world of the "resident evil retribution" grenade when Alice takes a pack from a dead trooper cocooned..

the master design of Taku Dazai is astonishing.. and was a real pain to reproduce !!!

    SICK !

3rd godaikin. the treasures of the past become scarce & no one can have them all. it's a situation now where you must exchange a jewel for another or plunge in dark $$$ prices sometimes. hard choices & styles designs to fulfill atmospheres & vitrins
    [IMG]

Cthulhu delta green & some readings about the man : Stephen Alzis. love the Fate attitude. he was impressive in the final of the delta green novel "Rules of engagement". like if "Akira" was ported to cthulhu world.

    3.. to complete one..

After Akira & ikari.. (weird?!), Mindseeker is the only 3rd game i have in box for the Famicom. it's a great insane game about psychic & more than the 6th sense.. impossible to master without ESP or tons of hours of progress

books, mooks are an important matter when people meet & chill out, and they rarely go faulty. rarely.. because ink sometimes fades away on bad productions. i have some in RPG starwars & co..

another very rare PC computer from french distributor "PCW". everything fades aways. shame on this. they were in nearly half territories in france. the survivors of these computers are so scarce. in more centuries, all again that will survive are pyramids..

another little job for Resident evil , WIP 90%. better blue cylinder to find or assemble.

finally got the infamous Sony walkman . due to "Guardians of galaxy" it's an insane price to get one.

~14-15th starwars vintage stuff box, and im' not a a starwars addict..

2 mooks, one legendary about arcade otakus in 1995, the other has nice pictures of 50/60/70's japanese gamecenters,

the 3rd, is a recent game&watch & other LCD games review, only seen a japanese tweet about it yet.

good old toys becoming insane to search at correct price. half a month paycheck for grendizer boxed is just insane. so had to make compromises & fix them later.. Bioman biojets + biodragon are such as good looking set !!

suspected in the trash electronics section of a charityshop , "Emmaus", (kind of "red cross") , that the tuner sounded like an amstrad cpc one.. it's kind of but none real info/review in internet.. named "printel st629". my friend found there a pc engine gt ! & a msx floppy diskdrive in box. it's rare but insane sometimes what we find there.. i have found there a decade ago some common old computers.. but "rare" in their setup (special interfaces & professionnally made diskdrives compared to usual data tapes : Hector1 +minidisc, Oric jasmin). Hector was made first in Silicon Valley (Victor-Sirius) ! & some french trusted this & implanted it in France.. but it collapsed too

I can only hope I can own a home that can fit that much some day. The magazine collection alone can someday fill up an entire bedroom I bet if it keeps growing :D

    Always fun seeing your updates.

well thanks & i hope myself the worst in term of maximum space later.. even in movies, dvd or LASERDISCS, i would love to have good space to show the covers :)

yep kind of funny.. the pile of mooks is about 1meter tall there (i will think taking a picture), i dont have space more in the tiny room i go back once a week..

some toys, some arcade stuff, a second xbox360 jtag & some paraphernalia ambiance. (i need a fake rack of guns in a future bar setup ;) ) : madmax/cyberpunk/catch/soldiers of fortune.
