Rights issues meant it never got released. Footage has floated around for years but this is the highest quality I've seen, looks nice!

 

That was pretty neat to see. I wish 360 got this. Talk about a killer app. Did they change James bond to not look like pierce? I couldn't tell in the footage I watched.

 

IIRC Nintendo was the stone in the path, they still had the rights over the game at the time, years later the Goldeneye remake was released first for Wii in a 1-year exclusivity deal.

I wouldn't be surprised that Nintendo knew that Goldeneye was Rare's best seller but that the studio couldn't keep the rights after being bought by Microsoft, and either stalled any kind of deal with Microsoft on purpose, or wanted a large sum of money. Only after Activision made the exclusivity deal above that they allowed an Goldeneye remake.

afaik its already in the hands of some people that got it while it was on pnet just no one is sharing cause if they do their epenis gets smaller.

 

Not only does it switch textures (and geometry), it even (prob'ly fake-)lowers the resolution. They really went the extra mile here , I don't think Halo did this.

You also reminded me I still didn't complete it on N64. Thanks to the Natalya's AI and my frustration.

 

While I do own Perfect Dark HD for 360, this is always what I wished I could play instead. My 360 is bone stock, but if this ever gets leaked I am going to mod the shit out of it just for this.

 

This was probably released too because everyone saw that you could play the multiplayer aspect of the N64 release online now fully remade in HD.

 

Really hoping this surfaces one day for all of us with XDK's or RGLoader converted retails to enjoy!

I have never understood this, seems backward from how I think about it, I feel like If I share something mine grows a bit LOL!!

 

I've never been shown evidence that anyone had it from Partnernet. Rumors sure, but no evidence.

 

This game wasnt launch on Ps3 and Wii? i've Goldeneye for ps3... this isnt the same game?

 

looks good, like to play it again, but im more on Perfekt Dark.
