I have retail disks I dont care about ruining if you want to try writing some grey disks for testing........
Hi willis82, I just saw the advertisement for your Dezaemon DD fundraiser at http://64dd.net/modules/news/. Of course, I have already donated $10. Good luck reaching $1,200 soon! Stefan
thanks for the donation. I'm going to run one here as well beginning in april. hope to get these out soon!
no not much new. been to busy lately to do anything, just moved to a new place and have been working a lot of overtime. I may sell one disk if anyone is interested..........need money lol
still nothing new? willis82, pls let us know what are your future plans for this project? As far as I know the 3 disks have been dumped, but there isn´t any update about the fundraiser or information about writing to retail disks. Personally I think a limited retail version would be the best solution, because most people are only willing to pay if they get something in return. But I have no idea if it´s possible to overwrite a standard 64DD disk.
I don't think the disks would boot on a retail 64dd, best hope might be that someday 64dd emulation will reach a usable level
no new news as of right now. It is dumped and I'll probably just give a rom out for free as no one seems interested in donating to release it. I can understand though since there's no real way for anyone to play it yet.........but there will be in the future I can guarantee it. I'd say it's possible to write a retail copy of it as well, but it will take someone writing their own code to get partner to write a retail disk. Which is something I'm not capable of doing but others might be.
No news? I think these are great news as a public release of Dezaemon DD could give the community a boost. Both the emulation scene (which is not my favourite) and possibly the writing to a retail disk! Maybe kammedo is capable of doing this? http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32053
yeah I'm sure kammedo will try to write a retail disk and if anyone can figure it out it will be him. I did just receive a commercial copy of dezaemon 3d today and just as I stated before the blue disks will work with commercial carts. so it would just be a matter of writing the rom to a disk with a retail format to work on a retail machine.
It´s good to hear that Dezaemon DD runs with a commercial cart. Hopefully kammedo will be able to write a standard 64DD disk someday. I mean there are very few 64DD games available and a new release would be something like a jackpot for Nintendo fans. But sometimes I feel like I am the only one who is really curious about playing this game...
was playing round with the disks tonight and decided to give the file transfer system a try. You can transfer levels from one disk to the next using the copy function. you have to swap the disks out several times and the levels will copy from disk to disk. This means if we can figure out a way to make retail copies it will be possible to have a swap disk floating around between us 64dd users to trade custom levels we make........
