I just had a quick look at your video, but I couldn´t discover any difference to the commercial cart released. No 64DD start up screen, no extra games to select. I guess I will have a closer look this evening, but the only person who can actually compare the official cart to the 64DD Expansion is you...
While the games may be the same at first glance, the cart versions are 5 levels long, the DD versions are 10 levels long. One disk does have a totally different game, disk 3 I believe.
thats ok, his tools were for commercial disks anyways from what I understand, dev disks are handled different
That sounds interesting! The original cart contains 2 games named "Solid Gear" and "Usagi", but there is also a hidden game called "Ramsie". Can you please take a video of the new game from disk 3 ?
so I ain't gonna lie before watching his videos, I totally thought this was an expansion for a DORAEMON game
I thought so too at first but then again I'm not familiar with either the Doraemon nor the Dezaemon 3D series/games. Though Dezaemon looks like something right up my alley, hope these guys get dumped soon and preserved regardless of a public release. Though if it comes to fruition I'd anticipate being able to donate. Is that squeeking sound (I'm thinking guinea pig sized gerbil?) sound from the N64DD? I've never had the pleasure of having one function in front of me before and I've never heard that sound on any YouTube videos.
YES, Omake seems to be a new game. Additionally it´s marked as "ROM", so it seems to be on the non-rewritable part of the disk. Great news!
is there anyone on here fluent in Japanese to translate things like the blue screen DD message on disk 3? I'm just very curious as to what it says......
thats at the start up. I'm talking about the message that is saved on the disk, it's at 17 seconds in on the video.........
