Thanks buddy. I knew CX was OSC for Modbo, but I don't know if it's frequency is suitable for 12fxxx stealth chip code.

As usual, your dedication to the cause is inspiring. Still waiting on my serial card, looking forward to trying your Old Crow code on my v9 Ps2. :)

Gate I assume is WFCK which is point 59 (JL673 point) on 3000 machine on IC605 (same ic that has the SX point) on a 39001 is pin 68 (also JL673). MM3 has pin 5 labeled as GATE and that is WFCK on the PSOne so I just looked up the same point on the ps2.

If WFCK is "GATE" then this is it on a 39001

On a 70000 series the WFCK is also Pin 68 of IC6101 since it uses CXD3098Q chip also.

Wait did you say yours was a V10??? Is that an European 50002/3/4 with the little "a" next to the last number? I don't know those things by heart LOL...

V10 is also pin 68 for WFCK

I think mines a v9 50001. Not sure, it's packed away until serial card arrives, needs new laser as well.

Lol, I always hear 'WTF' in my head when I read that point. I think it's the same chip so point should be same. Just need eject point.

I might try to do a full install with Mayumi/ MM3 before I try your code just to see if stealth code is compatible.

also 12f683 dont have an internal oscilator, it uses the clock directly from console. thats why their are not any oscal calibration valiums when you launch pic programers.so about mayumi install we have for now the pins 1(vcc)-2(cx)-4(rst)-5(gate)-6(sx)-8(gnd)-7(eject) pin 3 is the last one we need to find

How does Mayumi or any other stealth chip help in SCEE consoles if there's no modchip detection (from what I have read)?

It does have an internal oscillator, it just doesn't need an OSCCAL value set like some others do (12F508, 12F629).

I did find the "open/close switch" (not the individual tray-in and tray-out signals but the button toggle itself), this should be what I think is the "Eject" button which is Pin 34 on the Syscon IC402 (JL421 point) at the board ribbon connector on the 39000-39001 and also (JL421) on the V10 GH-26 so I guess same point for all, you guys can venture and correct me if I'm wrong but this is an endeavor in which I will not venture since we already have a very simple way that works with only one wire jumper LOL... There's no way I'm installing an 8 wire chip so if anybody wants to try I think there's plenty of info in this thread about points etc. After all it's about complementing FMCB.

Hmmm... I see the thread on the Ps2 Mechacon Adjustment Program (PMAP) is back to life... That caught my eye... LOL
