Removing the ability to root the device is definitely a good move on their part. I hope they have some damn good encryption/security measures in place to prevent piracy.
Didn't see any mention of rooting the system being removed. However it was always stated that the store would be "protected" (How I'm not sure.)
Dude, if that's the only thing you want, just get one of the Chinese Android things you plug into your TV that can be had for cheaper than this. No idea why you'd wanna play Android games on the TV though, considering they're all pretty much shit that's fun for about 15 minutes.
Holy crap that's fugly. Hopefully someone has the sense to radically change the design. Very surprising announcement though seeing as handhelds are all but fucked these days.
That horrible looking Nvidia handheld aside did anyone read that the Ouya can run emulators pretty well apparently. There was a video of it running Mario 64 with ease which whilst it might not be the most demanding N64 game its a start!
