Amy Winehouse Has Dead !

Singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, north London, at the age of 27, police have confirmed.
The London Ambulance Service was called to her flat just after 4pm but were unable to save her life.
"On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene," a police statement said.
Her death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances, it added.
The Back To Black artist had cancelled all tour dates and engagements last month
after a series of erratic public appearances.
She had been troubled by drink and drugs problems throughout her career.

Like I've said to plenty of people today, should I have respect for someone who didn't have respect for themselves?

 

Talented yes but talented enough to be remembered along side the other in the 27 club?

No I'm shocked she didn't pickle herself to immortality like Keith Richards

On the BBC News Channel she's being classed as ''one of the greats''. Don't make me fucking laugh. One bum album, one above average album and then 4 years of nothing but tale after tale of her 'struggle' with drug addiction don't put her in the same class as Ella, Billie or Janis, real greats. All three were alcoholics, all three were chronic drug abusers but they also had a great talent and didn't give it the ''woe is me'' bullshit that she used to spew forth.

If in years to come she's still remembered it'll be more for the antics off-stage than on. That in itself speaks volumes about your alleged 'talent'.

 

She defiantly has no right to be classed with other musicians in the 27 club

 

Despite she looked like a crack-whore (sorry Amy), her music was of touching beauty.

One of today's stars that neither made 99% cheesy songs about *her feelings*, nor one of those whose music sounds like electronic garbage. I really respected her for her talent and listened to her albums a lot. May she rest in peace.

 

Shoulda' went to rehab.

 

I don't consider my self straight edge but I abstain from Alcohol, drugs and smoking. I don't consider myself preachy but this is exactly why you shouldn't do any of those three. A huge waste of talent and potential.

Few months ago and I wasn't passed out on drink. I was knackered!

 

i drink. i smoke (not weed).

i get drunk less than once in a year and nevere trashed. i smoke a cigar a week.

you can do things without burning yourself out.

 

Not saying you can't. I've just seen enough bullshit with smoking and drinking between my grandad and my mother that ended up killing them and is sending my grandma the same way that I wouldn't ever touch them now. I don't know many people who use drugs but I wouldn't ever use them.

 

I'm sure the autopsy will reveal that she died from smoking, eating or injecting a shit load of random Class As. Silly girl.

 

Was this really unexpected? I've neither the sympathy nor time for some fool who had a shot at everything and threw it all away.
