He's backed himself into a corner right now...I'm just gonna go ahead and say it won't be posted, at least anytime soon. Oh well.

I'm not trying to defend GoH, but I think you guys are just going to rip apart anything he does just because you know he made it. Thats probably why he wants to try really hard on it. Maybe.

Honestly, I'm just egging him on for my own amusement really. If he honestly wants to try and do it fine, I have no real judge because I'm not British. I have just seen this type of thing before...call me a bastard I guess I dunno..lol.

If he manages to put forth a convincing British accent, I'll be happy to acknowledge it. I think the chances of that are very slim, though.

I'd have a better chance of pulling off a Bristol accent than anything else...but I'd still fuck it up.

Nothing pisses me off more than this stereotype. Except, perhaps, slurs on our sexual prowess. I noticed from living in the US that they love picking out things like this to degrade the view of other countries. A superiority complex, perhaps?

A bit like Britain does with the Fench, but for multiple countries.

Not bad! Do you do the Geico Gecko (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmiK7cIx-pU&feature=related) too?

People like comedy and stereotypes. It's not like a secret attack by US citizens or anything, jeez.

It's pretty regular on other countries, very seldom is it on American people (politicians and celebrities, yes, but not average people).

And here I see so many other countries stereotyping Americans being loud, obnoxious, fat, etc.....wow

Yeah. That gets on my nerves, too. It used to be kinda bad on this forum, back when ID-Republix was still around.

We do get the occasional idiot spout off and say something like "All Western gamers have shit tastes in games" or something though. Not pointing fingers or naming names there, but its just not true.

Every country stereotypes every other country because of pointless nationalistic pride.

Yeah fuck Nationalism...it's pretty strong here in Japan still too. At least once a week (perhaps more around key elections) you'll see these nationalist right wingers driving through town with an old Imperial flag waving and shouting over a loud speaker from the cars and playing really old music....it'd be creepy if it weren't annoyingly loud enough to drown out conversation.

Yeah. And speaking of Japans crazy nationalism, I was playing a custom map on Team Fortress 2, and a Japanese guy entered the game. Really, I don't mind that there was a Japanese guy in there, but as soon as he came in he was saying all sorts of untrue shit about the US, like "Everyone in America is poor white trash because your national debt is 16 trillion dollars! ololol" and "You guys aren't free, you had slaves a long time ago" etc.

It didn't help that there were a lot of weeaboos in there as well, and they were tolerating this bullshit. I was the only one to call him out on it, and when I did, shit hit the fan. He started making empty threats like "DEVIL AMERICAN I TRACK YOU STEAM ID" and rather humorous insults, such as "GO SHOVE A HAMBURGER UP YOUR ASS"

Oh, and all the weeaboos were calling me a racist asshole. Funny thing is, I never said anything racist, I think the biggest insult I said was "You're probably just an Otaku that never leaves the house and believe everything your news says on TV" It was like arguing with a brick wall, with a bunch of "special" kids guarding the wall.

I've heard that Japanese racism, xenophobia, and nationalism was bad, but I've never talked to one before. Now I know how bad it gets.

To be honest the Japanese guy sounds like any other typical online gamer. The nationality is kind of irrelevant - it's that classic thing, once you give kids/idiots anonymity and an audience then you get xenophobia and foul language, regardless of where they come from.

So true, go to almost ANY internet forum and the most common words used are racial slurs...
