It's a lot of them, if I remember correctly. The people most likely to cause accidents are young, inexperienced drivers (less than 5 years) and old people.

I've played tons upon tons of online games. I've met several bad people, but this guy probably takes the cake.

I think he MIGHT have been a troll. Anyways, I read on another forum where some guy made a list of nationalities that are fine to play with, and which are not. I remember a few of the excerpts:

(Best people to play games with online)

Chinese people: Chinese people are the BEST people to play online with because they'll actually help you farm / grind / etc in games, and are really friendly.

    (Middle ground)

Americans: I think he said something like "Can be really awesome or a hair pulling experience" He said little kids make the game a migraine inducer. He said the same stuff about British players. He did say some British people mumble incoherently. I can attest to that, I was in a club in TS:FP called the Redwall clan, and half of their members mumbled a shit ton.

(The worst people to play with)

He said something like "I've played maybe one non rage inducing game with Japanese people. They call everyone "______ devil" and will teamkill / ban / harass non Japanese players." I've also read in a gaming mag once that in FF11 Japanese players go out of their way to grief someone. I think it was from a reader who sent in a letter. NO one should tolerate this bullshit, pardon my french.

Oh, and I'm not trying to offend our Brazilian members, but this guy said Brazillian people were the absolute worst to play online games with, but I'm not sure why.

Japanese people on XBL are usually cool, probably because there a minority, but some of them are dicks. They never have mics, which is okay but they will let you know if there jerks over other means.

The guy on TF2 I was talking about was using the text thing instead of the microphone.

It's funny you say that. The Japanese are normally completely opposite of that. I guess the anonymity of the internet lets them express what they are told not to do in their culture.

Hah. I think you just don't understand our dialects.

At the risk of inciting incoherent rage from you-know-who, any Diablo 2 player whose name ends in "-dk" will be a gigantic pain in the ass. They're also typically the only people who feel the need to append their names with their nationality - you never see -de or -ita or whatever, only ever dk. God knows why.

Fair play, that's not bad. Your English accent sounds more like a German speaking English than an actual Englishman, but either way it's a lot better than I was expecting.

hmm, fair enough. I did have this obsession with Germany when I was a kid. It all comes full circle now

    That's not that bad!

For some reason, accents make me sleepy. I dunno why. Whenever I'm on tech lines I feel snoozy. I had an indian chick tell me I need to go take a nap once...lol.

I didn't want to add this part, but that guy who made that article on gamers to not play with said Danish people usually were pretty cool, but like you said, they always ALWAYS have DK at the end of their name. Its funny, because I've heard someone say being nationalistic in Denmark, or maybe it was Sweden(?), will cause people there to call you a racist.

As for the dialects thing, that might be true. That and they may have been using idioms and stuff that only a British person would know.

I suppose it's only fair to point out that most Diablo 2 players are a nightmare to deal with. The (name)-dk ones did seem to be particularly bad, though.

Oh god, I could never get into that damn game. Seriously. Everytime I tried to play it everyone just tried to play it for me.

Maybe the next time I do a gaming video I'll have conversations with my self using all the voices I can do.

    MAYBE

I think that's a mental condition, talking to yourself...but hey whatever floats your log...haha

Don't worry, I did my fair share of self-talking amusement as a child so I can't really speak on that :D

I've banned myself from ever playing WoW because I'll obviously get addicted to it in a life-destroying way, but I've loved Diablo 2 since release, and I recently ended up playing a few hours a night for a year until I "quit" a few months back. It's really not that good a game, but it's got just enough depth to be completely absorbing if you're obsessive-compulsive enough. There's always going to be something you haven't seen (for the D2 players out there, my final one is an Ist, outside of ridiculously unlikely stuff like a Tyrael's), and that's what keeps me going every now and then. I probably play half an hour every couple of weeks now, and unless I want to lose my chars I have to log in to each every 60 days. I'd probably just give it all away, if the process wasn't such a lengthy pain in the ass.

In fact, if anyone wants 8 accounts worth of loot on Eur/NL, PM me and you can probably have it. You'd have to be active, want to actually use it and not let it die... but on balance I probably don't care either way. Funny old thing, addiction.

GOH - You could have come up with a better script on your video. You are a writer - right? :icon_bigg

Over the Pond Friends - Now what is up with the words Gusset, Knickers and Stockings?

I had to do something, I have so much I need to do right now (I'm trying to sign up for a class somewhere and the Community college is full so...I must look elsewhere) so I had toss the video together fast so I have more time to figure out what I'm going to do for the next 5 months.

It's terrible. You sound like some creepy pervert trying to do an English accent.

Hmm, I sense a theme. Well, Knickers is originally french and what we call panties. Womens. Stockings are thick tights, which Americans would call hose. Gusset is the same as in the US, the center part of the knickers/panties that goes between the woman's legs.

Speaking of Diablo, I got the Diablo box set last night. Haven't installed it yet, though.

Does it require the CD to play once installed? I was thinking of somehow installing it on my Eee PC, but it doesn't have a CD drive.
