Jeeeze that thing is freaking expensive. Any word on if they are avalible in retail stores in china? I still am tempted to see if my gf can find one and bargan the price down. Also any word on how games are handled? Are they all internaly stored with no way to add more or swap out games? Or is there a game port that we are not seeing?
S1xty, can you tell us how much this would come to total, including shipping? If we can keep it below $200 then count me in. What the hell, only live once. I know there's gotta be four other people here who will get one.
LOL those are some hot T-shirts, hope the "Life is a Gime" shirts arent only available in a womens cut.
Personally, I wouldn't waist my time on this. At best you’d get a mediocre console at an overpriced privilege. Even the collector value isn’t so great because while it might be rare for the average non-Chinese in North America, it isn’t in Asia. I could have gotten some family relatives to pick one up already, but I really didn’t think it was all that special.
I asked him about shirts, he says he would give one for free if we buy the vii stock of 5 or so. They don't seem available for sale on their own. Also I asked how the console stores the games: The console has 12 games already build in, it does have a cart slot (didnt get any technical details on what type of card it uses) - which can install more games. One alternative card has already been produced, it contains 6 additional games. Also he sent some more info on the MotoSea controller, which runs on the same hardware but is some type of jet-ski look-a-like. The games for this one actually look very decent. The Vii is just launching and he is still looking for wholesale partners, anyone interested?

Thanks for the link, Swanyl. Did anyone else notice that the Vii that guy has looks more like a PS3 rip off rather than a Wii like the original? Yakumo
Yeah its the newer model. They changed it to that design after releasing the first version that looked like a Wii. Personaly I think they should have gone with scaling it down to be kind of tiny.
Jet rash eh? I know a tramp that has lots of that... About the Vii, is ironic that they ripped nintendo's idea of overcharging for it:lol: About that MP3/game player thingy, I would like to see how well it performs after some continuous use. That plastic looks too cheap...
Hmmm I like the console, can´t wait for it, to get cheap. And end up near me whether it is the PS3 ripoff, or the Wii ripoff, they are both cool in some obscure way . And then somebody could probably figure something out, about homebrew on the "crappy" console. Edit I suddenly had a strange thought, could it be a kind of conolised GBA ?
LMFAO! Gime as in gime the f*$king price already!! Yeah, you wanna be avoiding the Jet Rash! Damn, that thing really does look like overpriced crap. I wonder if your German lady's involvement was just in coming up with the name? Maybe they heard her saying "I like to play viv ze vii" and stole that, and airbrushed the pad in her hand, too! ;-)
