Anypne tried the Vii?

So, do any of you guys want to go in and get the five consoles, %20 off deal? That would bring it do about $130 (not counting shipping.)

What the hell, we're collectors, right?

 

Are we getting the Wii lookalike or a the ps3 look alike? That's what I want to know...

 

I'd be in for one if it was for the Wii look-a-like.

Nah, $130 each is too much, especially as they will probably be all over the place in black markets before long.

 

The vii is useless. Considering how "empty" the vii is, there can't possibly be a reason to justify the cost, except to somehow market it against the real Wii which is thousands of times better than the vii.

I can see this as coming out, release a few VC game cartriges for it, then after the novelty wears out (and more chinese consumers realize for the price they might as well spend on a real Wii), it will die out and will be again useless.

I mean, the vii is just as expensive as a PS2, and the PS2 is much more popular in China due to Piracy, and the fact they make the mod chips themselves to boot!
