It has been a while since I last posted here and I have went through a lot of junk trying to figure out the vinyl format as a silly millennial. FINALLY I have defeated annoying static, clicks, pops, and a strange buzzing noise thanks to how my receiver reacts to the house's electricity. In that time, have started to collect again and welp, got these in the months leading up to the forum's resurrection:

In order from the upper left to the bottom right:
    Angel - Helluva Band
    Bryan Adams - Reckless
    Curtis Mayfield - Superfly
KC and the Sunshine Band - KC and the Sunshine Band
Peter Frampton - Breaking all the Rules
    Q Lazzarus - Goodbye Horses (2017 Reissue)
    Tom Jones - She's a Lady
Trevor Something - Die With You

Hoping to get to collecting proper again, and eventually upgrade my turntable to something better, namely a direct drive one that may or may not be vintage.

I got a metric shit ton of stuff in between forum going down and now. One of them is the New Gorillaz. Which I think is probably their best.
Got more Jazz, mostly just more jazz. Ultimate Sinatra because no vinyl Collection is complete without the Chairman of the Board.

IMG_5597.jpg IMG_5598.jpg Picked up quite a bit recently, mostly 80s stuff but more recent releases like Fiona Apples first album Tidal which had its first release. Also an album from The Bird and The Bee called "Recreational love". Latest are Data Discs "Gunstar Heroes" soundtrack and Com Truises new album "Iteration" both albums are pictured above from my Instagram posts.

Sound quality really good, both records play back at 45rpm.

Well, that is good to hear, especially when I have the nice recording from the 16-Bit Audiophile Project it will be great to hear something of that level in a physical format.

Back with more 80's pop. This time with Howard Jones's Human Lib.
I Love how the Japanese version comes with a slip to make sure the audience knew who the artist was.

Japanese singles are great, you get the record in a slip with the cover separate complete with song lyrics in English and Japanese.

Another 80's classic this week with Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Two Tribes 12". Made in 1984 and in mint condition. Sounds as if it's brand new.

I've bought WAY too much in the last few months to keep up with here. Theere's a shop down the road from me with a VERY small Vinyl section and they had some goodies, gonna go clean them out soon.

You should list the pictures man. I'm sure people would be interested in seeing what you have.

I don't get to buy much vinyl,, or anything for that matter anymore due to a very limited income. I did pre-order this a while back before it was released as my once a year present to myself :)

Slightly off-topic, but if I wanted to get some nice hard clear plastic cases for these to protect them while being manhandled, what would you suggest and where might I obtain them? Ideally in Canada or USA. I've asked around at a few record stores and they have no idea (which seems absurd to me). Intention is to use them in an escape room. Thanks.

I was referring to the 12 inch cover slip with the picture of Howard Jones on it. The actual album cover is a little abstract. The spine card is known as an Obi in Japanese. The ones on records are also Obi so I guess we can call them spine cards for records in English.
