Just picked up Code Elektro's Superstrings album on vinyl. Highly recommended synthwave.

Some classic Jackson today. To be honest I only bought this for "One day in your life".

 

People forget he had albums before Off the Wall as a solo artist.

 

Just ordered Super Hang-On, Shenmue, LPs and preordered Streets of RAge 2 LP. Need to acquire SoR and Pokemon LPs...

 

I though about ordering them then decided it was pointless as they all come from a 100% digital source. I could probably put together better versions of the Mega Drive stuff myself on CD as I have the equipment and the software that cost over 500 dollars.

 

i got a ton of cds and barely am starting to collect lps. mostly rap promos and 90s-early 00s metal

Keeping with tradition of owning EVERY Pet Shop Boys album released, I picked up the brand new album, SUPER.



It's comes on cool white vinyl too! Sexy.

 

I bid on a Copy of NIN the Fragile on Ebay yesterday, I got outbid a few hours later. SOMEDAY.

Thinking about what to get next. I've been listening to a TON of Kanye and I'm pining for a Vinyl release of the Life of Pablo that is probably never happening. I might get some of Kanye's other albums on VInyl next. I want to build up the Hip hop wing so we'll see what if anything I'll end up with.

You'll have to tell us how good the picture disc sounds. From experience they normally sound shit due to surface noise.

 

The picture disc sounds good nice and clear.

 

Got Streets of Rage 2, Shenmue, and Super Hang-on in from Data Discs as well as Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, and FTL from iam8bit. Need to calibrate my player as it keeps dropping the needle about 5-8 seconds into the first track rather than the beginning. Not normally an issue but I found it was cutting off some tracks enough to be noticeable.

Also got the OST for Hohokum in the mail...bent. Someone put way too much pressure on the package with their thumb (my hand fits the spot perfectly) and bent the package which bent the jacket and slightly bent the LP. I was given a full refund and allowed to keep the record which seems to play fine?

 

Something to chill out to when night driving or drifting off to sleep. Paul Davis - Cool Night. If you've not heard Paul Davis I suggest you give him a try. Some good easy listening music. Sadly he's dead now after a heart attack in 2008. He was only 60 when he died.
