Hahaha thats a great idea seeding it on a 56k line, it still gets released on time like it should so people can't complain but they have to wait longer for it to download.
Horay! Also I wanted to add that one of the possible reasons a leak/breach of trust like this is particularly bad is that it could scare off any future proto owners (who are notoriously nervous about communities) not just for sonic but in general. If the group can't be trusted to keep their mouths shut about a very short tech demo what hope is there for anything else.
Your quite right.... I do think that because of the breach someone should get punished or expelled from this fourm. Because if no action is taken then in future who's to say someone will trust us. While no one can expect pure silence because this was our first release and members were not all "noted and trustworthy" simply because many have no background of being trustworthy. This to a collector should be understandable. However, if we are to build this into a solid and firm place, action must be taken to make sure the place is trustworthy. And while in this case that fact that someone talked about it being released really won't jeopardize the owner, it does jeopardize the secret nature of this fourm. No we shouldn't seed the thing on a slow line or delay it, because only really 3-4 people blurted. So why should we punish the hundreds of sonic fans out there. It doesn't make sense. We're not angry at a million people we're angry at maybe 4. I think banning people will expose the fourm, however. So, what to do.
