it would be more clever if this topic was deemed private from the beggining. ie people who aren't from the forum not being able to see, limiting any chance of movement-leakage ;p

Less talk more walk. You better start moving with all the proof at hand in collaboration with a local authority before the bastard runs for it. keep in mind that you won't be able to 'inspect' his place without a warrant. He still has rights under Article 8 of the Human Rights convention ;p

I wasn't cheated by that guy but in email conversation he told me that he shares his ebay account with other users.

Think i'm going to forward this to Ebay. Maybe his account will get closed as it's against their rules.

I think I'll sell the twat something like a Neo Geo Hotel unit then actually send him a normal kitchen unit ! That will show the little shit. Of course Fake accounts all-round and a POBOX number will be used.

Just catching up to the forum....some thoughts.

Did you try to Google his name, address, or phone number?

Has anyone thought to email his past Sellers on eBay to get more information about him?

He didn't turn up under a seach for the rare XBOX systems. I searched Panzer Dragoon, Hulk, Hello Kitty, etc. It might have been someone else.

Has everyone here checked their records to see if they've done business with him? Nothing came up in my file.

It sounds like it's just a matter of time. He's using the same names, accounts, addresses, etc. Even the same bank account. It's not like finding him will be hard.

Don't go to his house. That actually might make you liable in a way that has no benefit to you.

    Good luck!

Pay attention, this is not his ICQ number.

    NEWS:

Adrian asked me to give him the scan of the shipping receipt and my address.

At the moment I have no clue about what he wants to do.

    I'll let you know.

Hi, I am sorry, I just think this might have been or is the same guy, possibly with another eBay account as many of the details seem very similar and caught my eye! Really just an extra piece of information to add to other eBay / auction users who might be trying to avoid being caught out by fraudulant users!

    ;-)

The scammer wants your address and reciept? Hmmm... I'd be very cautious. He may be onto your attempt to nail him, he might be thinking of paying you a visit for a little payback. I assume the reciept is for the trade he ripped you off on? He may be trying to cover his ass in some way, or maybe trying to turn it around on you (claiming you ripped him off or something.)

I wouldn't give him jack squat, especially your address. You don't want this guy knowing where you live.

Well, he had my adress already.

Anyway I gave him what he has asked, telling him to pay attention, since it's all in the hands of Interpol.
If he sends me something, I'll open it in front of the police that helped me.
I hope, for him, that he will reason well.
