Why another smoke black, and another Ultimate? Or didn't you Kasumi system come with it?

    My Kasumi was missing it.

And because my smoke had a bit of damage, and this one was essentially free from the points I had, minus shipping of course. Plus, it is one of my favorites anyway :p

Ah I see. Very nice then :D It's amazing how much cheaper the Japanese version is.

So many Smoke Blacks have been popping up lately I was thinking of grabbing one and converting for use here.

This one was just a loose system and was around 3000 yen, but I already have 3 smoke controllers and the rest of the stuff for it anyway. I figure I need to open my beat up one at some point, it is loud. Wont hurt the value anyway. Gotta love the FromJapan points, plus my super awesome 3% discount on shipping hah

Any discount is a good discount :D I just find FJ hard to use and confusing for me. My Debug Kit is loud on the start up but eases up while it's running for a bit.

3000 yen is pretty good, I'm on the search for another one.. Search I mean, money to get one :p

For FJ, all I do is enter the link, usually use sniper bid, and have it go that way. The downside being you need the deposit, but it can be refunded at any point. Other than that one darn issue with them throwing out a box, Ive been fairly happy. I lied, the smoke Xbox would have been 2,500 yen if I didnt have any points hah. Looks like it hadn't been updated either

They threw out a box? Wow, that's worrying hah.

Geee how could you lie to me? :p

I'm playing XGRA since it arrived yesterday, but have a few more games coming so I won't take a picture of them yet.

Was wondering if you plugged this into one of your Xbox's as this was only for Japan (Xbox Video Chat), just curious if it works on the US models.

It would probably work fine, I dont think there were region specific accessories really. A bigger issues is with the fact there really isnt any software to use it.

The Kit, which will retail in Japan for 6800 Yen ($60 US), includes a camera, 12-month subscription to Xbox Live, an Xbox Live Voice Communicator, Video Chat Disk, and Live Starter Kit Disk. Though an Xbox Live subscription is required to enjoy Video Chat, it's unclear whether a less expensive alternative will be available for those who already have an Xbox Live subscription

Looks like there is CD called Video Chat Disk that came with the kit, I gave you something else to search for! Also I guess it's a re-branded Logitech web-cam in Xbox colors.

I already have the disk, no need to look it up hah. But it needs XBL to function, and I havent had any time to hack around anything or have someone do it ;) There are two versions of the kit, one which came with standard XBL stuff and was more expensive, and one which was just the camera and the chat program. All on xbcentral, which no one can get to hah.

Nice recent pick up I like king of fighter 2002\2003 great game. Wondering what are the 2 games that you missed from your delivery. And no love and shoutout for your resident assemblergames Xbox collecting homie at Neogaf og appreciation thread ;).

Haha I see how it is want to get a complete Xbox set first so that you can be the only one on that neogaf thread with a complete set :p. Nah just kidding loving the Xbox prototype footage you posting keep it up. And if you have a chance see if you could gameplay footage of B.C as you were in the process of talking with someone who worked on that canceled project inquiring minds want to know :). Still working on the Xbox master list only 300 titles in with about 800 more to go.

Hah I dont mind getting beat to the punch with the complete collection :p The two games I missed delivery of are Japanese games. Really, if I had money, it is fairly easy to get a complete set of Xbox games, I don't have the money though. To me, having a complete collection is more of a side project since my focus really is on development stuff.

I know man I feel yeah but would you believe that I spent about 1/3 of the going rate of what it costs now to acquire a full set? So I'm a thrifty collector who spends wisely and knows when to roll the dice and be shrewed when their is a awesome deal to be had.

True it's easy to get a complete Xbox set if you had the money but a complete or almost complete Xbox variant set you need time more than money because a lot of those variants show up once a year if even that or worse 5 years waiting and found on a certain variant that I found out that recently didn't exist but now it does.

Money doesn't buy everything but rather the dedication and fortitude to accomplish things that most people don't want to do it sounds eerily similar to you project documenting things and establishing a depot of public knowledge of all things Xbox for future Xbox enthusiasts and collector's alike ;).

But yeah I dig and admire all the work you do on the Xbox development side of things and without your work and countless others who do the difficult task of hunting down and getting in touch with those past developers on those projects these prototypes and unreleased games would be lost to the past. But keep up the good work as always you have my support and vote of confidence :D. I've been following your work longer than you think ;).

Im not surprised hah. I know there are a ton of variants, which is why im not worried about them right now :) First things first, complete the set. Ive been supporting my local businesses a lot, which means i occasionally pay more on some things but it evens out :)
