Battery died. Thought it was just that, but after putting in a new battery it drained too (while I was driving even), so it is looking like the alternator is the culprit.
Visit local autozone, purchase refurbed unit for cheap, should be simple, adjust belt tensioner to loosen, remove 3 bolts, install, done.
if i'm not mistaken, looks like dvd case housings commonly found in blockbuster sized video rental shops. (maybe smaller shops too?)
Nope, not blockbuster related at all. I order things from here: http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/ For titles that I want to have just a little bit of protection, I use these bags: http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/store/4569532134 For hard to get titles, I use these harder shells: http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/store/4569532134 (Edit: apparently the links dont work, didnt even notice hah. Just click on the Playstation one, should be obvious.)
^^ nitpicking! i meant video title grade shops, NOT the (defunct) trademark. ... those housings are solid, cash-converters/pawnshops and even CEX-UK use them, some even have locks on, but yeah, whatever?!
Not nitpicking at all They aren't as thick as the cases that you are talking about. Much thinner, bendable even.
^^ understood. never come across the flexible versions, just rigid! the one in the image above looks identical to the display housings at above mentioned places, cept they're solid. ... anyway, if the ones you use are durable with flexibility, could be worth looking into?! thanks for links, and the clarity! :witless:
Hey amiga your back! Welcome back buddy. Nice pickup borman so are you going for a sealed Xbox launch NFS set if so go for it man.
Borman do you have anymore DEV 360 related items :O? (besides that test kit in the bottom there) i haven't sifted through this entire thread so i'm sorry if i didn't quite catch them if you posted it!
ah cool cool man it pretty rare i see those floating around, IF that krypton would ever come up for sale, i would love to buy it off you!
Id really like a Beta 1 360 at some point, or an alpha kit (yeah right), but that is about it Anyway, new (crappy) panorama picture. Managed to pick up 4 extra shelves, despite Ikea having none in stock. They ended up having a whole shelving unit in their 50% off section. Couldnt fit the entire cabinet, but the shelves ended up being cheaper this way. Left the cabinet itself in the parking lot hah. Wanted more than 4, but 4 was better than none. Have yet to run the wires, the lights are all attached from the first, and only time, I actually did them. When I do eventually move, hopefully I can pick up a few more cabinets to better arrange things and even out the shelves, since I know someone's OCD will dislike the setup now Still more stuff to arrange, and it doesn't include all the games or Xboxes for that matter since I actually use some of them, but the gist is that one shelf is mostly development, one shelf is mostly retail or retail related (bar the prototypes on the shelf...), and one is all games. Lots of common retail units left to fill out the collection too hah. It's getting there anyway.
