It's just my guess though, no real facts. Sadly Japanese XBOX stuff is barely documented, so I keep a close watch on them. Not sure if Borman has this DVD or not. He has some I'm missing and I have some he's missing

 

Pretty much. Officially, Xbox-ism disks were given to retailers to promote Xbox stuff, along with given out to people who bought Xbox stuff. What interest me is the the mention of ONE with XBOX back in 2004, perhaps the 1 year anniversary of LIVE out in Japan?
Something different, was the marketing person back in 2004 on the naming team of the Xbox last year?

 

Xbox One was a name tossed around for a variation of the Xbox prior to launch.

Chrome Xbox will likely never happen. There were all of 3 of them. At least one could be seen from Microsoft's lobby as of a few years ago. Have more pictures of the jewel, but Ill wait until I do the nicer setup

Wow, the design of this XBOX logo and the jewel was way ahead of it's time. This design would of made the XBOX one console much more slicker looking.

 

This is one of my favorite dashboard designs that never made it to the retail console.

Yeah and I think it was shared here as well. It was one of the earlier ones without an actual dashboard. Either December 2000 or Feb 2001
