    Some woman stepped on my cat (kitten really) and broke it's leg.

    I'm now looking at minimum $1500 to fix the leg. Vet wanted $5000
    to do a surgery, I told him to stick with a cast and forget the
    hollywood bullshit james bond macguyver stuff.

    Just go home from the 24 hour vet (3am).

    What makes me angry? She didn't even say a thing.
    If someone crushed another's pet, at least say something.

    So furious.

    She still hasn't owned up to it yet! but unless some mysterious being came into my place through the damn wall and crushed my cat in a footlike manner, then vanished into ether, it's her 100%.

    Goddamn high heel too.

    sorry to hear that chap. Is the cat insured?

    Our cat got cystitis (sp?) over christmas so we were down the vets also with an unexpected bill.. which we could have done without!

    heh.. i cant stand abuse of animals.
    ive had my cat for 17 years now, if anyone should harm it in any way they should fear for their lives.

    since youre in america i think you should take the opportunity to sue.

    I hate people who don't take responsibility for their acts, these people need to be given lessons, I say break her leg too!!! An eye for an eye!!! :rambo:

    Especially on a kitten, it's cruel!!!

    On a more moral note, you should contact your local animal right office and complaint against that woman, if she's not even sorry then it's "cruelty against an animal" purely and simply. In the UK and France they don't laugh about this, sometime people get even prosecuted. She should have taken your cat to the vet.

    What a fucking cunt !!! if anyone did that to my cat, then I would be so pissed , that I would maybe punch the bitch in the face, or demand that she should pay for the cast. Damn it, I fucking hate animal haters. Since even though I sometimes get irritated over Togepi (my cat) then I don´t raise my hand at all. I maybe tell her to stop something she is doing. But still what the fuck is it with people ?

    They want $5000 for surgery. Fucking robbery. I found a local place that will do it for 1K but total so far is already $2000.

    Mind you I can barely pay for my own medical problems.

    Is assembler goinging to have to sue a bitch?

    Holly Shit 5000$ for what a face lifting...my cat jumped from the 5th floor
    2 years ago when she had her crazy days and broke 2 legs and i payed
    around 340 Euro for surgery and thought it was expensive...but 5000$...lol!
