Damn fool stepped on my cat.

Since when is pet surgery so insainly expensive, it only cost a couple of 100 euro's last time a friend's dog broke it's leg and most of that was from the meds and such not even the actual surgery.

serously though 5 grand? MY dog ate ANTI freeze and it costed us 5K to have him on an IV, and in the vet's care, and all this other shit since he was close to death. 5K for a broken leg? WTF

 

Now that pisses me off! I had a similar problem years ago when some asshole kicked my dog (at the time a puppy) and messed up its hip.

It didnt need surgery or anything, but my dog was never the same after that:-(...

About the bill, Kev you should sue that bitch. Call some animal rights organization and ask them for advice, maybe they can get you a lawyer who works with these kind of cases.

At least it was a cat and nor a kid. Is much much worse when some jerk drives around, hits a person and then runs, knowing that he may have killed a human being...

While killing an animal is pretty bad, killing a person is one the worst things you can do.

 

My dogs developed a lump on her leg and it cost £400 just for xrays/biopsy. God knows how much it will be to remove it.

I should have become a vet for the money they charge!
