David Thomas...Anyone heard from him?

He probably used all your guys money and sold my stuff to use to pay for all his debt!! His day is coming!!!! I sent him a message on eBay telling him that he needs to get back to us and soon!!! There are lots of people looking for him and that we know about his active activity on eBay!! Will see if he messages me back!!

Does anybody know a trustworthy person on here that can install trusty boards? Im guessing for the mean time ill have to rebuild my collection until i can take some legal action against that a@$ hole david!!!!

 

Well just to let everyone know that SOB david never responded to me on ebay!!! No surprise!! Im going to see my attorney after the holidays. What i need to know is everyone willing to write up a statement about there experience with david, what he did, and what he has stolen from you? Please post here who is willing. I'll let you all know what the attorney says!!!

July 9, 2014: I made a trade with David Thomas. I sent him a box which included the following: 2 Xecuter3ce Modchips, a X2.3 lite chip and a X2.1 PRO chip, 1 XLCD Screen, 1 bios switchs for a PRO switch and a Programmer. This was supposed to be in exchange for a red XCM case for an xbox.

July 10, 2014: I shipped the box of modchips and parts USPS priority mail to David in Florida.

July, 14, 2014: David received the package, said he would test everything out the next Day to make sure it works before he sends anything out.

July, 17, 2014: I emailed David to see what was taking so long.

July, 19, 2014: David says he's "gonna ship you the red XCM case first thing this coming week"

July, 29, 2014: After hearing nothing from David. I sent him an email asking him why I haven't heard from him in 10 days and if he mailed the xcm case to me yet.

August, 1, 2014: David responds saying he will be back home on sunday. His grandpa passed away. His grandma passed away 2 months earlier. I respond saying sorry for your loss and to keep me updated.

August, 9, 2014: I emailed David saying that I understand he's been busy with the loss in the family. But I that feel like I have been waiting too long. He's had my package for almost a month now and I haven't gotten anything in return. I kept up my end of the deal. Now it's his turn to do the same.

August, 11, 2014: David emails me saying he'll be back home tonight and get it in the mail tomorrow. He's been in new york for the last week. I respond with Thanks and tell him to email me the next day

August 25, 2014: After not receiving anything I email David saying "I haven't heard from you in 2 weeks. What's going on?" No response from David

August 27, 2014: I email David again saying "David, Can you please respond to this message? I want an answer.. Again no response from David

August 30, 2014: I email David again. No response from David

September 1, 2014: I email David again saying "Hey David can you please respond to this message asap. I have done my part of the trade and you have done nothing. If you don't want to give me anything in return I deserve an answer. No response.

September 23, 2014: I email a new message to David saying "Hello David Thomas,

. I sent you the Xbox mod chips and etc. I've been trying to contact you but I haven't got a response from you in a while. What's up? We had a trade but I haven't gotten anything from you. Not even an email. Please respond to this message. Thanks"

At this point I figure this guy just ripped me off and that there is nothing I can do.

December 16, 2014: On a whim, I type "David Thomas Xbox" into google search and I find this thread on assembler forums. I learn that this guy has not just stolen from me but he has stolen from many people on this forum. I am not alone. So I created an account that very day. I respond to this thread. I also send David Thomas another email saying "we have a trade for some xbox modchips in exchange for an XCM case. Well, I sent you the chips and you never sent me anything. What is the problem??" Again no response

 

This looks less and less rational the more pages you start to read. Get a grip, if you take him to court don't think his lawyer won't have print outs of all of this hostility. One post practically reads like a threat to go to his house and harass him personally (which you shouldn't do, do it through a lawyer).

 

What do you propose that we do? This guy has stolen from a lot of people. Can you blame us for being upset?

 

Talk to the police or to a lawyer. Threats get you no where. If you don't take action, you have no one left to blame but yourself.

Threats of action, threats of showing up at his house. As APE said, DT can use this thread against people individually too. But there isn't anything more that can be done by posting here really. The easy options have been exhausted. Assume your stuff is gone and sold, and decide what you want to do. Don't wait for someone else to take action.

 

Hey dont come in here and tell everbody to chill out ape!!! How would you like it if someone took 3 xbox dreamx for upgrades (and i hope you know what an xbox dreamx is there ultra rare and worth alot), 2tb hdd, 1ghz upgrade board, dual trusty board, xbox with the 1.4 trusty upgrade xbox for repair, and ignores you for 3 to 4 months!! Which means he has run with our stuff!!! SO DONT TELL ME OR ANY OF US HERE TO CHILL!!!! Anyways i will keep everybody updated when i go see the attorney and see what can be done!! If everybody can pm all your statements instead of posting on this thread.

 

We're telling you to take action instead of posting about taking action. I would be pissed too, and you can go back and see many times that I have been because of people here and elsewhere, but if it had been this long without any response, you had better believe that I would have taken action long ago.

 

I dont see anywhere where we threatened him ok!!! Dont come on here and tell us to be civil ok if he hasn't stolen anything from you then you dont need to post here!!! And we wanted to give him a chance to get back to us thats why we haven't done anything!! We found out that he is active on ebay and is ignoring our messages!! Now we know hes a thief and its time to Take action but everyone has to do there Part not just me!!

 

Im a moderator, I can post here. We're giving you advice. Showing up to someone's house unannounced, in Florida, where many guns are legal, demanding money or your stuff back, is asking for trouble. But useless rambling and no action gets you anywhere. As APE said, this thread is getting more and more out of hand.

 

It is not getting out of hand. We are just posting updates on here, but when you come in here and tell us to be civil after what has happened noway!! We will stick to updates on here and everybody needs to take action as well and see what can be done. ill post what my attorney says and get back to you guys. Ill a bind by what you say moderator my apologizes.

 

There is a lot of crap going down here but it seems you did feel that there was threats in the message since it was edited after the fact.

however the entire situation seems like it needs some resolution especially with the ebay account being active at the moment. Like seriously why would you keep using an eBay account that was known to be yours if you pulled a heist of people's trades?
edit: I do hope that it resolves quickly, but it does not seem like it will resolve in a mutually acceptable manner. Do you have a friend in his area that could scope out for you to see what the crack is?

 

I have to thank megatron for this thread. If it wasn't for this thread I would have never known that David Thomas did the same thing to god knows how many people online. The guy has stolen from a lot of people. and we are figuring out what to do. I'm with you megatron!! I got your back.

 

well I'm over the "loss of a family member" excuse now. So I am going to start looking to get a hold of him by all means now. the gloves have come off now!

Edit: What I am saying here is that I am not going to wait around for him to make things right, I am about to contact the police department over this.

Last night after doing a few searches I found phone numbers, and also possibly his facebook account. Says Lives in the area of floria, and wearing new york sports team hat.

 

The system has used up it's revenue... Maybe it'd be a problem 10 years ago.

If it's still illegal, then you've been shafted. The police, or the courts will not help you if you got ripped off over a cocaine deal would they?
