Is there a way to bypass or patch for Region Free?

 

You can use gdrom explorer then select export to gdemu and click on the "region free" checkbox. There are also other tools that do the job well ^^

I was using an old version of gdrom explorer without this "export" option...

Perfect now, Dreamcast NTSC and Gdemu. Time to play

i know youre doing only vga patches. but can you give any help to my code veronica x project?? i know you dont like horror games, but dont worry about the testing i will do it. and im sure @fafadou will do tests. just upload a 1st_read.bin each time you want a test

More like me when i try to downsample my first video. I understand what you want to do.
In my memories, the intro was OK and as I can see the credits are ok too. it must be checked during the game.

well I have no sound during the intro and my nulldc crashed at this moment :
Is it the same for all ? I load the .gdi file.

 

No problems until now on real hardware... tested with demul 0.7alpha and no problems with this intro so far.

 

I know I know, I just have to much on my plate right now. I have to patch the other Dino Crisis versions then I come back to you about RE:CVX.

 

I reboot my system and now it's ok :-D

Isn't RE:CVX already VGA working or do you mean for other languages?

 

For the moment. I don't have seen some bugs. But the save I have kept, is just after the t rex video ^^

For me except this FMV it's ok.
An other amazing patch for you japanese cake.

 

the usa version is vga ok the pal ones need hack. about recvx its never released in dc outside japan i find workaround and can be played in full english but also require 1st_read.bin moding. (some small issues 1st_read.bin related) they are very few people like @japanese_cake who know how to modify 1st read.bin.

 

This I know about Japanese_cake doing this modification on 1st_read.bin to make VGA compatible. I was just wondering if the USA version you released had some issue. This was the reason I thought you were asking Japanese_cake. But like you said it's for the PAL, indeed.

 

Finally finished the game. It's all OK .
Finished (Ending B and C video) don´t know about 'Ending A' video, i overwrite my save for (Ending A) video

There is nothing downsample.

I'll build the french version next week. I'm glad to try it in a real dreamcast soon.
