FYI for american customers monoprice cables are highly recommended....

 

I'll take one, clear cased Hanzo. Been looking for a VGA box recently, and this looks like an excellent way to go (especially as VGA box prices seem artificially inflated these days, despite being the same cheap garbage that a few years ago went for a third the price). I'd much rather support someone who's actually providing compelling new products and supporting the scene, and while I'm not the biggest on scan line generators for most games, it'll still be cool to have.

CLEAR top AND bottom is just fine with me - - looks classy, I get to see the PCB bottom, and the blue LEDs will provide all the color needed!

When will the new Hanzo be ready for shipping?

 

All the parts are ready except a few which were ordered from abroad. DC cables and the switches. I found better ones than I used on the prototype.
PCBs and plexis will be ready in this week as I was told.
I estimate it as 2 weeks from now.

 

Of what? the DC Cables or the Switches?

 

switches, I ordered chassis type which I couldn`t find here. 2 extra legs for the pcb chassis... to make it more robust...

Alright, I've mulled it over a bit (a lot actually), and I still want a Hanzo, clear on both sides. PM me with payment details. (Sorry it took me so long to decide that for sure. Was having trouble deciding if I wanted to go the internal VGA mod route instead or not, among other things.)

 

I am informed that the PCBs are ready, I will pick them on Monday.

Dang that is a lot of PCBs! I'm getting hype for the Hanzo!

 

Hey I'd like to get one of them Honzo's I gotta wait a bit for cash but I will for sure get one cause I have Racketboy Cable and it doesn't do very well with the LinkStyle VGA to Component converter. I hope this one will work and I think it will.

 

Finally all the plexis are ready, notice that Hanzo name is laser engraved for a better look, previous samples were thinner...
Another good news, I also received rest of the parts from abroad only the DC connectors are stuck in the customs, but I will get them in a few days.

Such wonderful assortment of Colors for Hanzo, Wow! I wouldn't even know which one to choose. Well, I suppose black is always classy and it reminds me of Kuro, or even the official Sega VGA box.
