    IMPORTANT:

OK, I am putting you all in my preorder list. I am currently designing a PCB for Hanzo, I hope I can succeed on that.
I am planning to put it in a custom plexi box which can be any color, custom made to order.
I won't manufacture any of the other projects in this thread, because it takes too much time, I couldn't convince my tech guy for going on. He has other jobs to do also.
However I may design a simpler DC VGA "breakout" cable with the same 15khz mode feature but sans box, I will work on that next week.
I may also design a PCB for Scanliner in the future, depending on the demand. Currently few people are already selling it, so no need for another, I guess.

I won't collect any money until I finalize the new Hanzo prototype PCB...

So I apologize for any inconveniences I may cause for now.

Just don't ever sell to someone in china, they will steal the design just like they did to krikzz and everdrive...

Well it's weird, you start a project and stop it after a week or two...

    Better buy cables on taobao.

    Regards.

Yeah those ChinaMen are good at the thought of stealing and reverse engineering.

They don't respect Patents or let alone whole companies, Take a look below.

    :disgust:

P.S. It only Cost "48" Mill to build the whole park in China. "Disneyland cost $17 million to build in 1955, about $116 million in today’s dollars. The Space Mountain ride, which opened in 1977, cost more than half that amount (in constant dollars)."

Sounds to me like another Chinese Death Trap

    LOL... :)

Then I will write MADE IN P.R.C to prevent it from being copied. They will assume that one of us is already copying it, so no need to copy again...

I really want to continue to build the Scanliners however I need a slave who can be fed with only a slice of bread and a glass of water a day.
It takes too much time without a PCB, so maybe I can build some. I will talk with the PCB builder next week. I keep a preorder list, so justice99 and others are there to be reminded when it's available.

I think scanliner is a must have for any enthusiasts of DC 2D fighters. All I can say is those 2d fighting games definitely look better on a large screen with scanlines. I am an owner and a fan of DC from day 1, those 2d fighters were awesome when I first played on a Sony CRT, then after I began to play it via VGA box, they looked edgy and awful, not like in the past with a CRT as I remember. So I had preferred to play fighting games on Saturn until I discovered scanlines.
I'm very grateful to whoever found and developed these scanliner projects. I am just an applier and a modder, not the only one who builds them, however I want to design new things too.

Scanliner are really expensive you know, TSLG and SLG3000 are not worth the investment, your price is just fabulous.

A Tabobao seller used to sell this item : http://img01.taobaocdn.com/imgextra/i1/32808265/T2OBJJXatcXXXXXXXX_!!32808265.jpg

What if you add a scanliner to this ? So it will be a very complete produt : VGA,Scanliner,SD card,Svideo,15khz,RCA,Audio Jack.

It will be the best extension ever !

    Hi,

For those who don't like LED's on.

    http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/eeb6/?srp=1

I bought this because the stupid blue LED on my router was distracting me so much. You can black out most of the light and still know its on and functioning.

Cheap and simple answer. If you really don't like the LED, just put electrical tape on it.

I'm very happy someone has decided to make these. Be grateful. VGA boxes are hard to find as it is and having one with a scanline generator is impossible.

    Have a good day,
    Deka

    Yep, thanks for your interest...

---> RetroJunkie: Thanks for the review, nice video...

Big switch is for the 15khz/31khz mode select. So when the blue led lights, it runs in 31khz(480p). Switch close to the led is for odd/even selection. Others are for scanlines on/off and width selection.
