Haven't heard anything of a new Smash Bros , unless they announced it when I went to the kitchen for 5 mins xD Wii U looks cool but I don't know... the conference was a bit underwhelming. The fact of having yet another peripheral for a console makes it look like a mess. With the Wii U supporting Wiimote, Nunchuk, Wii Fit, Zapper, the Wii U controller :/
I have to agree that the Wiioo(just kidding) has some potential. It looks like we could really get some innovation with that thing. It all depends of how Nintendo develops games for it.\ Or, we are going to have a tool as useless as a VMU stuck to our controller. Why EA? EA sucks. All the games they make suck. Harry Potter games are unplayably terrible. I decided 7 years ago never to buy another EA game, and I can't be alone in my decision.

This is Nintendo trying to cover all bases. You have your shooters, your HD graphics, your tablet for the Apple crowd, your Wii controllers for the casuals and gamecube compatibility just because they can. I guess the theme in this E3 was not motion controls, but playing anywhere, as Wii U and transfarring show. Guess MS needs a portable console or tablet controller to compete.
I suppose the real questions now are the exact hardware specifications, the cost of the main unit and more importantly, the cost of that controller. I wouldn't be surprised if the controller is at least 80 quid over here.

Well that was a disappointment. 3DS nothing new was shown other then announcements of some far off stuff (smash bros), Luigi's Mansion 2 (actually hyped for that) and bizarre stuff (lego GTA). Wii-u 3rd party stuff was all stuff we can play on ps3/360 (nothing exclusive) and the new features they showed, 90% of it can be done with a PS3 & PSVita linked together. Being able to play with out a Tv was kind of cool but if 3rd parties get on board for Vita it wont really matter since i'll play that version instead (since I can take it with me). =/

That reminds me of the dev comparing it to a swiss knife And thats the problem, those cant replace actual tools. I know, I got one and besides the blade, the screwdriver and the scissors the rest is almost useless and only to be used when theres literally nothing else. If the screen its resistive (a probability seeing the stylus) then thats one point against it. Not sure about the GPU, honestly I dont know if there are any out there besides the ones in X360 and PS3 that dont output 1080p natively, but then again the tech demos were a little underwhelming. All in all its too early to tell, maybe after they release the complete specs

Man. Nintendo could sell shit in a bag and make a tonne off it. Not saying the Wii or WiiU are shit (infact I'm excited about what it will bring).
Why would I watch that crap live when I can just read about it afterwards? I'm not as into jerking off to some corporate spokesman bullshiting about mediocre games LIVE as a lot of people on the Internet seem to be.
