I don't think I have an ultra wide card. Because an HD50 fits the card just fine. I was sent an HD50 to HD50 cable and it connects my dreamcast to the computer just fine. But the connector on the NU64 Flash Gnag Writed is not HD50. I thought it was because it is the same size. But unfortunately it is not.
Just found someone who can special order me the cable I need. Hopefully this is the right one because it took a lot of searching to find someone who has access to one of these. If anyone else has a gang writer and needs a scsi cable let me know. I can give you the contact information for this person.
Yeah good luck, although I have no real interest in the game itself I can't resist the lure of something unreleased and unseen.
Since the game has been ready for quite some time in N64 cart format , nintendo would be wise to release it on virtual console for 20 bucks and get it over with.
The game was not complete on cart format, maybe it got as far as 70% , but I know it definetly was not complete, they had too many problems porting the code over from the disk based code.Perhaps there is a more complete version for the 64dd complete though, glitches and bugs will definetly be prevalent though as the team had problems coding both 3d graphics and developing for the Nintendo 64 and 64dd overall.
I really need the contents of the partner 64 floppies. If anyone has them/knows where to find them please let me know. Also if anyone could link me to the right spot on the Intelligent Systems website to download the software for the Nu64 Flash Gang Writer. I would greatly appreciate it.
Uh... It has been quite some time since coreycorey posted something here... so... is there any news about the M3 disks?
I still don't have a Partner 64. But I'm starting to have more free time to devote to this. I should be bale to ask around and borrow a partner 64 in the neer future. I've been too busy this past month trying to get my car back on the road. But I picked it up from the body shop today so everything is looking up again.
yeah soinc cult is saying this is fake and i belive its real why are they claiming its fake if it just hasist been dump yet note: hey borman check your private messages
I tried searching Sonic Cult to see where they talked about the M3 disks. But I couldn't find it. Could someone link me to it? I like to see what people think and hopefully someone will be able to provide some help.
I think the reason the persistent-world based things were not included in the Gamecube collector disc game (and the other 64DD exclusive content) is down to the 64DD hardware itself. The DD discs were partly writable and presumably the expanded game used a fairly large amount of disc space recording the "zone states" of the world. I can't think of how else they would achieve something like that. Obviously this wasn't possible on the 'cube due to limited space available on the memory cards.
N64 Development system on ebay.... Does anyone know if I could possibly use this in place of a Partner 64 cart. Actually when I really think about it, it probably isn't possible. I had a glimour of hope for a few minutes. If someone thinks it may do the trick then please let me know. It isn't very expensive so it might be worth a chance.
if you mean the n64 with the parallel port cable sticking out, then the answer is most likely no. im repeating myself here, but have you actually tried running the debug units ipl rom with a n64 backup unit such as the v64 jr. or the z64 instead of a partner 64? maybe you've already seen the thread here where subbie mentions that he managed to boot the debug ipl rom on a v64jr.
I don't have access to a n64 backup unit of any kind. So no I haven't tried it yet. I need both IPL4rom and IPLrom running at the same time. Would this be possible with a backup unit? I have indeed seen the thread where subbie explains that he has had ipl4rom running on a backup unit. Are any of the backup systems just cartridges? Because of where I'd have to hook it up I don't think it would be possible to hook up an entire system. It has to connect to the N64 joint right beside the IPLRom cart.
